When this Chipotle location was being built, many of us at the local fire department — myself included — were genuinely excited to have one opening nearby. Unfortunately, after giving it multiple chances, no one at our firehouse wants to eat there anymore.
The customer service has consistently been poor. The staff often seem unfriendly and act like they don’t want to be there. On top of that, they’re frequently out of ingredients, and the portions have become noticeably smaller over time.
Today I ordered a double meat bowl with Chipotle-Honey Chicken and steak. The employee had to go to the drive-thru window to get the chicken, and the portion was small, but manageable. However, the steak portion was shockingly small — barely a quarter scoop — and it was clear the employee didn’t want to get a new container to provide the full amount. Even worse, the chicken in my bowl was ice cold by the time I ate it.
This was the final straw. It’s genuinely disappointing that a place we were all so excited about has let down so many of us. Sadly, this will be the last time I (or likely anyone from our firehouse) will be dining at...
Read moreEvery table had some sort of debris on it. Ordering the food was fine, until the end. The guy whose job it is to roll burritos…doesn’t know how to roll burritos. After giving me the smallest amount of guacamole he rolled my burrito in a way I’ve never seen before. Turns it into what looked like a baseball. Of course the tortilla is ripping so he grabs another tortilla and plops it on top. I looked back at everyone in line…everyone was smiling because we couldn’t believe what he was doing. I told him just make it a bowl since he didn’t know how to roll a burrito to which he said “no I got it” wrapped my torn baseball in some foil and put it in a “for here” basket. My wife and I sat down at our dirty table and enjoyed our cold food. At least we have a funny story to tell. Chipotle should show the burrito rollers a 30 second YouTube video on how to do their job and it could make all the difference. We...
Read moreTotal melt down! We always order on the app to save time and customize our lunch more easily. We placed our order in the parking lot then waited until about 5 minutes before our food was supposed to be ready, before heading inside. At the appointed hour, there was no sign of our meals. There were 3-4 others sitting in the dining room, wondering where their orders were. 25 minutes later, our lunches arrived. I remarked to the cashier, I'm reporting this to corporate. She responded "I would." As we munched, I watched several customers get their meals after a long wait. It seems like the drive up window is a priority for the overworked staff. In fact, I saw people at the back of the walk up line, order, eat and leave before we got our lunches. This fairly new addition to The Villages needs a shake up. It...
