Pastie Day - Premo's caught my eye when I was at Jerusalem Market yesterday. They have pasties on Tues, Wed, Thurs. I feel like this type of food was more popular when I was younger. I hear this was the food item of the coal miners? Premo's has the awesome food aroma when you walk in and I think this was only $4. The crust is lighter than it looks. My husband is originally from Plains and introduced me to Premo's many years ago. Stopped there today for the "sprinkle cookies". They are DELICIOUS, and the perfect size. Ended up buying Pasties that we love, a blueberry pie, and a slice of pumpkin cake. You can't go wrong with anything from Premo's and the prices are great. Neighborhood friendly bakery and excellent customer service. Very unique pastries, pineapple and lemon. The prune pastries nice size serving. Prices reasonable. Entry very clean and comfortable.
