Bought two gliders and had to order a matching end table. After four weeks, came to find the one I specifically showed the sales person I wanted is different than the one they ordered. To get the correct one would be an additional $94 and another four weeks. Not proper customer service. Made to feel like it was my fault the exact one I showed the sales person was not the one they ordered. Have to waste my time and effort a third time loading and unloading the gliders back as I will not do business with a company like this. They can keep their furniture and I’ll keep my money.
Edit in response to the owner’s comments: You don’t seem to have the correct information, and you would know that if you returned my phone call. I was not shown the matching table; I showed the salesman Rudy the table I wanted. At the time of ordering I was not given any information about different manufacturers making different “matching” tables. I was under the impression, as your store is known for “customizable, exactly the way you want it,” that I was getting a circular table in the specified colors. I did sign off on the table being ordered as, I will state again, I was under the impression the table I showed Rudy was the table I was going to receive. Upon pickup I did not change my mind. The table your employee ordered was the wrong table and was admitted to by Rudy himself. As for demanding a free table, that is simply wrong. All I wanted was The Factory to honor our agreement that I get the table I wanted for the price I already paid. It was unacceptable for me to pay any more for your mistake. How could I possibly know that YOU ordered me the wrong table from the vague statements on the receipt. If I showed you a round table, don’t you think it would be your responsibility to order me a round table? You were willing to take back my gliders and for that you must be a saint. I paid for three items and received two. As far as I am concerned, your part of the contract was unfulfilled and I am entitled to return all the items. You may be able to bully other consumers, but I am not one of them. Your salesman Rudy was rude and apparently is also a liar. Read moreThe Amish made Hutch I purchased and cherry wooden filing cabinet were nicely made and met all expectations.. however the upholstered couch and sofa did not meet any of my expectations ! The love seat which has semi attached back pillows pulled away at the inside seams on the back cushions! I submitted pics and documentation through my 5 yr gold plan which was a joke… first no reply for several weeks .. then they said it was a manufacturing defect as there were no rips or tears in the fabric .. just a pulling away from the inside seams and now I have extensive fraying!! The fabric on the couch also has pilling another item not covered under their gold plan.. so choose carefully! The staff was always friendly and supportive… but be wary of the premium fabric and their so called 5 yr gold plan .. not worth the money! I also purchased a floor model red leather recliner… which performs well.. and has maintained its performance and look… sadly it is in the same room several feet away from the other 2 ...
