I am a loyal customer of this Casey’s for years, as I grew up in Willard. I have always been happy with this Casey’s until the other day I went in there in the morning time with my Folgers instant coffee packet like every other time in the morning. I proceeded to make a coffee with their hot water dispenser and used one creamer and one sugar packet. I grabbed two donuts and went to the counter to pay . A lady named Tina said I owed $3.79. I asked why so much? All I had was two donuts (don’t buy their donuts as I found out they are not fresh at all in fact have been frozen for months by time they are up for sale) and brought my own coffee. She said because I used a sugar packet and creamer I owed the same as if I would have just bought one of there coffees! I told her I brought an instant coffee from home and don’t mind paying maybe .50 for the cup and sugar but not $1.79. She refused the lower the price to the proper amount. I then said if she would not correct the price then I do not wish to make the purchase period and left. Well today I went in to purchase some food and was told I had to leave from the same employee (Tina). I left and am now writing this review due to the fact that I made a complaint days ago when it happened and have yet to receive an sort of response from management. I do think that this particular employee has also disliked me since she has worked here since she has never been very kind to me and is borderline being discriminatory toward me I feel; thus, want to warn others of this ridiculousness. As I would hate for anybody else to receive or experience such an embarrassing, unnecessary, and just flat out wrong treatment. I may decide to change this review if Casey’s does in fact correct the situation; however, not sure what they could do at this point to even correct it considering I feel attacked by Casey’s and don’t even really wish to continue shopping with them. By far the most unprofessional and hateful service I have ever received in my life so far.
Pros:
Convenient location Hrs open (more convenient when was 24hr)
Cons:
High prices Extremely poor customer service Donuts not fresh but frozen and thawed (nasty) High ethanol fuel (damages engines over time) Charges per sugar pack and per creamer used This location failed a sanitary inspection and had to stop servicing for the rest the day till they cleaned up and got reinspected...
Read moreI have never written an online review before, so I will try to keep this concise. I get gas at this Casey's about 3 days a week on my commute to Springfield. I went to fill up yesterday and paid for a full tank of gas and when I got outside to pump it, my fuel door was frozen and I couldn't get to my fuel gauge. I couldn't do anything at the moment because I had to be at work in a few minutes, so on my way out of the parking lot I called Casey's to explain the situation. I asked that I would be able to pick up the gas on my way home since I had already paid for it. The person who answered the phone said "sure" and said that they would tape a receipt and a note next to the register. I stopped last night to reclaim my gas, and of course, due to incompetent employees with limited skills, there was no note. At this point I was on empty and forced to buy more gas. I stopped by on my way to work to speak to a manager and was told she could do nothing. Apparently Casey's in Willard has no cameras or transaction history on their registers. So basically I am out a tank of gas due to the negligence and lack of discipline of the Casey's employees. Willard in Casey's has forever lost mine and my family's business which is pretty substantial because between our 5 vehicles I would say we pay them $500 a week. I hope that no other customers have such trouble, but if you do I would recommend you find a better...
Read moreI have been going to this Casey's for almost a decade. I even worked at this location for a few years. Now I'm not one to leave reviews, but I could not help myself after the past few times I've been. I have tried on multiple occasions to try and order subs in the past and the online ordering would say that they are out of bread for me to see bread in the rack an hour or so later when I'd go in to get gas and a drink. The staff during the pm or closing shift have been rude acting like I was bothering them coming in to grab energy drinks and pay for gas on my way into work. I stopped by this morning and sub cooler had almost nothing in it and when I went to get gas the cashier put it on the wrong pump even after asking me again if I said pump 7. Not to mention I was the only vehicle out at the pumps. The place is a revolving door I swear it's more new people whenever I go in. This store went from being a common stop for a quick lunch or gas on my way home or into work. I work overnights and they are reliably open late and early but at this point the quality as suffered immensely and I almost find it worth driving all the way to...
