They made a mistake ordering which my son ordered for us because I had to get our daughter ready for a play. He read the order I sent him and then 2 pizzas came out instead of calzones covered in onions. I went to approach them and said there was a mistake with our order, the waitress said she double checked with my son but he said he read what was on his text to her again....they said he said pizza but he said he read it straight from his phone and it says calzone. So I said fine whatever I will pay for it and told them I probaby wouldn't be back. The person at the counter, probably the owner, kept trying to get me to change my mind about coming back and it wasn't their fault. I just kept saying no im not changing my mind She said that's fine you can pay and never come back. How does that work!? I wasn't yelling, I paid and from what she said my kid made the mistake. I think your confused on how that works. So my bill went from 1 pizza and 2 calzones to 3 large pizzas and 2 calzones....$80. I will never go back and neither should you...from what I have heard from other Willard people it has gone down hill. This wasn't the first time, family had ordered a pizza without onions and instead of making a new one since they made a mistake they took it back and pulled the onions they could see and took it back out (they were allergic and ruined the rest of the evening) So sorry you lost another customer and we...
Read more"We can make you another one, but it'll be awhile" is not "making it right" nor is "oh well we'll do something special for you the next time you come in." You don't have to worry about that.
My "just out of the oven" pizza was room temperature when I got it - in a microcosm that's whatever: people get busy. What I'm not okay with is sitting around being ignored for a half hour while my food is sitting in the back of house and then being told by management they're fresh out of the oven. A simple "we're sorry we made a mistake" would have been fine too.
I think this genuinely might be the first review I've ever left anywhere. I don't leave reviews. This left enough of an impression to change my mind.
Edit:
Wow! This is incredible. Yes, please double down and continue to tell me how unreasonable I've been. The only timestamps I really care about are the ones that show where the food's getting made because you still can't seem to explain why I was told my food would be done in thirty minutes, but when I showed up I waited an extra half hour and was served cold food. It seems that if you spent as much time actually serving food as you did trying to discredit your customers online I would have gotten a warm pizza and wouldn't be making this post in the first place.
I'm sorry you're sad about the one star, but...
Read moreWe had our wedding rehearsal dinner here because it was near our venue and I am so glad we did! I was more than we could've expected. Kathy, the owner, is a busy lady but when we finally found time in both of our schedules to chat, she was so sweet and helpful. She helped me plan my menu and gave advice on how much food to get. I had one guest with a gluten allergy and she was able to do a gluten free pizza for her! We opted to do a buffet style in the side room which perfectly accommodated our party of 27. When we arrived everything was set up perfectly and she even decorated our tables which we totally did not expect. The food all came out right on time and was DELICIOUS! Because the food was ready when we got there, we had plenty of time to eat and spend time with our guests. As it got closer to the time we needed to go, she boxed up our leftovers for us and had us out of there on time for our rehearsal! Her servers were all very attentive and kind. She even helped me cut and serve a birthday cake that I had brought for my mom. It felt like Kathy took me in as her own and truly wanted our evening to be special. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I will...
