Well, let me regale you with the tale of the Italian sub sandwich that not only rocked my taste buds but also my digestive system to its very core. Picture this: a glorious sandwich stacked high with meats, cheeses, and veggies, all encased in a crispy baguette. It was a masterpiece of culinary delight, or so I thought.

Little did I know that lurking beneath the surface of this seemingly innocent sandwich was a diabolical villain - a dirty meat slicer. As I sunk my teeth into the layers of deliciousness, about halfway through I couldn't help but taste a hint of metal and regret. Turns out, that metallic tang wasn't just a quirky flavor choice; it was a most likely the result of an unsanitary meat slicer.

As the day progressed, so did my discomfort. My stomach started doing the Macarena, my intestines felt like they were hosting a mosh pit, and my toilet became my new best friend. It was a symphony of bodily functions that would make even the bravest soul quiver in fear.

So, if you're in the mood for a culinary rollercoaster ride that will have you praying to the porcelain gods, look no further than the Italian sub sandwich at this deli. Just be sure to pack some Imodium and a sense of humor because you're in for a wild ride. Bon appétit, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Albeit, their...

So due to a photo I saw on Facebook and a few recommendations on TikTok, I went to check out the cheesesteak at Monster’s Deli in Easton. I’ll just break this down as quickly as possible.

The good: There was plenty of meat and it was seasoned well. There was plenty of cheese and it was Cooper Sharp. The roll had a nice consistency and flavor. The girl working the front was friendly. They had a massive American flag over the register. ‘MERICA BABY

The not so good: The 12” steak and a bottle of propel cost $19. I have zero issues paying for good food, but I did find that a bit steep. The onions were sliced red onion that they sautĂ©ed. Wasn’t really a “bad” thing, just unexpected. Still tasted fine. While there was plenty meat, it was packed to the middle and the ends had a lot less. I know that’s a bit nit pickey, but it is a pet peeve of mine.

All in all I really enjoyed the steak and I’d get it again, but due to the price I wouldn’t rush back in or go out of my way necessarily to get back there. I do know food costs are up for everyone, not just consumers, I just figured this steak was bare minimum a $16 steak (if the propel was $3). That puts the cost in the ballpark of Mercatino Italiano and Mercatino’s steak is definitely in...

First time visitor. I purchased the veal Parmigiano. The menu posted on the counter said the regular size sandwich was $8 and the extra large was $14. I ordered the sandwich with French fries and it totalled $15.65. I asked the cashier if that was the XL and she said no, it's the regular. Then I thought did the French fries cost over $6 bucks. She said that menu posted had the old prices and stated what the increased prices were for the sandwichand fries. What a rip off. The French fries were delicious but the veal Parmigiano was disgusting. The veal was fried hard and had to thoroughly chew to swallow. I took a couple bites and tossed the remainder of sandwich in the garbage. I won't be revisiting.

Joe is such a nice guy they really went above and beyond with my grub hub order when grub hub messed up and had me waiting 2 hours for food they tried to fight on my behalf with grub hub as well when i couldn't get anywhere and ultimately ended up remaking the food for me so it would be fresh when arrived. Joe just offered to out of the goodness of his heart. I don’t know how I have never heard of this place prior to now however while I will not be using Grub hub in the future, i will Definitely be going here to get food again! Amazing customer service, again above and beyond there are just no other words.
