If I could give negative stars I would. DD in Newberry is the worst- avoid it if you can. You'll wait forever in the drive through--not because they're understaffed, but because they're mismanaged and disorganized. Today, I went into the lobby at 11:30 am to order a medium decaf (that's it--only a medium decaf). I stood at the counter and no one would wait on me. (There was no sign saying the lobby or counter was closed). I finally called out to someone and asked if I could place my order. She said they weren't taking counter orders, that I would have to place the order on-line for pickup (at the counter). I asked her why I had to order through the app when I was standing right there and she could take my order. She said the counter was closed for ordering. I said, but I still have to pick it up at this counter, right? She said, yes. This makes absolutely no sense. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager, Tracy, came to the counter and told me they were understaffed so they closed the counter. I told her I counted 7 employees. She said, "Well, we will be short-staffed later, so we decided to just close the counter now." To which I replied, "What difference does it make if I stand here and order online or if I just tell you my order?" She replied that she couldn't take my order at the counter. This is...
Read moreThis is the 3rd time I have had issues with this Dunkin donuts. The 1st time I did the mobile to go order they had my husband wait in line for 10 mins until finally telling him the latte machine was broken. I had to call the customer service number to try and get a refund. I had to wait almost a week and a half just to get someone to even try and refund me when originally the first person I talked to on the phone said the franchise owner would call me and refund it onto my DD Card which never happened. The second lady on the phone ended up just giving me 2 free beverages instead. The 2nd issue I had was I tried to use the DD mobile app again to order my "free drink" And the app wouldn't even allow me to use the offer so I ended up going to the store again today. This time I told the girl I wanted a cinnamon sugar pumpkin latte, just 1 and a maple bacon egg sandwich. 10 mins later I end up getting 2 Chocomoca lattes and no sandwich. I don't know if it's just my luck at this store or the employees don't know what they are doing but this is by far the worst store I have ever gone to. Read moreWe went through the drive through with a mobile order and for some reason one of our coffees didn’t get added to the order. When we got to the window and there was no coffee that came out we asked what happened they said there was no coffee on the order. We said oh ok could we just buy it now please, they proceeded to tell us that they can’t check us out at the window and we would have to go all the way back around and wait in line again to order through the speaker. Not at the window (not sure why that’s any different) they said that it was company wide policy. we questioned why we couldn’t just do it there when we’ve had to do it before and it wasn’t an issue at other Dunkin’s. The lady working the window rolled her eyes and went to get the manager. The manager came back to the window yelling that we needed to leave and come inside if we wanted to order anything. I would not go to this Dunkin.
