McDonald's — Restaurant in Williamston

This is by far the absolute worst McDonald's in the Ingham County area. Always has been, read the reviews! Visited this morning during breakfast and it took over 20 minutes to get food through the drive-thru. Then they proceeded to argue it was only a six minute wait despite the time stamp on my receipt. First rule in customer service, NEVER ARGUE with a customer, especially when they present written documentation. There were eight cars waiting for food, including two parked next to the store. Everyone was getting out of their car and and going into the store to see what was taking so long. The excuse was they ran out of food. Say what? How do you explain that? Poor management! These things happen from time to time, I accept that. What is absolutely unacceptable was the rudeness. The attitude that this was in some way my fault for being there and the "oh well" mentality that came along with it. You do NOT treat paying customers in that manner and everyone who works at that store is guilty of this! This location has been a mess of management, poor service, terrible food, and untrained staff for as long as I've lived in the area...and apparently nobody seems to care. Not sure if this a corporate store or a franchise, but clearly they don't read the reviews. I came from Lansing to take my kids on a nice bike ride through the town. After we need a break to get some lunch an go back out. We stop at this McDonald's. We ordered on the Kiosk.. we spent about $25. We waited for a good 15 minutes to get our food. When I got out food we didn't get it all. I asked the guy if I would be getting the rest of my food I ordered and my daughters bottle of water he said yes they are coming up. I said out an brought my food to my children. I went back to get our fries and water. I stood they and wait for then almost 25 min before I asked to get them They get said what was your order. I told him I got my order except my Fries and out water. I told him put them In a to go bag because I have waited long enough. By this time kids where done eating.. I have worked in the food industry for 18 yea years I have never seen a more unorganized, none communicated store.not one person was talking to the next about anything. You need communication in a restaurant, and one person directing the staff non of that was happening. I'm very disappointed in this store and the management. You need to do better. I finally gave up on this place. Soul-crushing waits in the drive-thru, usually in the 20 minute range, even mid-afternoon on a weekday. Not uncommon to get the dreaded pull-ahead for your order (even when it's just a sandwich or value meal) and also not uncommon for all 4 of those slots to be filled up with waiting people. Orders are often wrong. Buns are often burnt. Often doesn't open on time. They constantly seem to be out of things or have malfunctioning machines. Was once told they didn't serve Sprite, even though I had been ordering it every day and it was advertised on their menu. Prices are noticeably higher than Okemos McDonald's for no reason. You really gotta wonder how you can place your order through the speaker, have it verified by the worker at the first window, and still get asked "what did you order?" by the worker at the second window -- that's happened more than a few times. Staff is something of a mixed bag, some are rude, others pleasant. Often seems to be a lot of arguing and yelling and goofing off in what is supposed to be behind-the-scenes though.
