BJ's Wholesale Club — Restaurant in Willoughby

The saga began on July 4, 2018. I ordered a Chromebook from this company. Had to pay a $10 membership fee in order to do so. After paying the membership fee, I receive an an email indicating the form of payment for the Chromebook could not be confirmed and the order was cancelled. This is interesting, since it worked just fine for the $10 they charged. I emailed customer service and requested a refund of the $10 and cancellation of the account. I was informed that they would not refund the $10 and that auto-renewal of the account could not be turned off. I finally was able to convince a customer service rep to cancel the account. Two separate emails, dated July 9 and July 22, 2018, indicated that the account would be cancelled.

Fast forward to June 3, 2019. I receive an email indicating the account would be renewed on July 1, 2019 and my card would be charged again for the renewal. After 30 minutes on the online chat function, I finally get a confirmation number that the account will be cancelled "after 7-10 days". I don't have much hope this is actually the case, considering my history with this company.

BAD SPOILED MEAT, Beyond Mad , we go to bjs frequently, this last trip was the worst, I purchased 200.00 in food, including meat, The pack of Chicken thighs were not only Spoiled but recked and had to have those removed upon scanning them we noticed a fowl smell and it was the chicken I also purchased a rack of lamb chops , Only to open them and for them to be SPOILED and smell enough to make my gag and want to throw up! Not only to mention Multiple Employees coming to where we were checking out kept asking if we’re ok! As we called someone over to take the Chicken off the girl obviously had an attitude, as I watched her the other employees were giggling about the situation, we were not asked nor offered a replacement, nor did I want another one only for that one to be Spoiled, As for the Lamb Chops those were put in the freezer for a later time now to find out they ALSO are SPOILED! Good...

As a Google Star Reviewer, my goal is to provide the best, and most objective, information to my viewers. I currently have 750,000 viewers on Google and other review sites. So ... BJ's Wholesale Club has to be the MOST expensive "discount" store I've ever been to! I checked 15-20 items, from pizza rolls, to TV's, to other items. And ... The results???! BJ's was MORE expensive than: the grocery store next door, Instacart, and multiple other stores. It would not be so bad, except BJ's promotes itself as a DISCOUNT store! Come on! How can you be a discount store when dozens of items are more expensive in your store than other stores??

My advice: do not shop here unless you want to pay more for items than other stores nearby!

I will post actual price tags of BJ's and other stores in an upcoming review, so you can judge for yourself if BJs is a real discount store ... Or...
