Came here with my family for a Friday night meal. The wait for a table wasn’t awful, but we waited over an hour to get our food. Mediocre is too kind to describe this food. I had better meals at Willoughby South High School. Nothing is fresh and actually looks like it sat out in the open for a couple of hours. I for see a food poisoning complaints in the future here. They also ran out of glasses and started taking ours off our table. Beer selection is just generic. Go to Spirit down the street. Better Food Better Beer.

Will try to come back. I respect what they are doing..and like a lot of it. Mac and cheese, Yes! Coors on tap?! Yes! No place even has Coors in the cooler let alone on tap. My biggest issue right now and I do not give criticism lightly.. The fries taste like they were outside in an open air freezer for a month. and the chairs...have. got. to. go. First week. No problem. But not a first restaurant. Again, chairs/stools. Feels intentional to make me leave in less than an hour.

I was probably more looking forward to going here than was warranted, but it still was a terrible disappointment. We ate in, 2 adults. Very crowded and poorly set up front of house. Just very badly laid out. We ordered the raved about chicken, and fried green tomatoes. Ice tea, and a soft drink. The first red flag was the tea. Hard to believe you can screw up iced tea, but it was nothing more than weakly colored water. The glasses used are the old school very narrow bar glasses— sooooo when filled with ice, and they were totally brimming with ice, you end up with the absolute least amount of liquid for drinkage, neat trick but c’mon it’s not 1976 folks? And the waitresses are either too busy or still learning so nobody asks if you need a refill. The chicken came out very dark- close to maybe a little too dark, but oh that wasn’t the best of it, the chicken was VERY PINK, juices too ran pink inside of each piece! I thought at first it was maybe a lighting thing, but nope, it sure wasn’t! When poured onto the white napkin - pink as raw meat usually shows itself to be. I will say when asked about the various sauce options, our waitress wasn't kidding when she said the coffee BBQ really “has no flavor, not hot, not sweet, just no flavor.” Ooops and true? It might have been funny if it hadn’t taken 40 minutes to be seated, and the food was even fair. The fried green tomatoes were far from homemade good, but they were ok. Not anything to crave, or drive for, but eh. I just won’t go out of my way again to go. Not a destination place to enjoy good food, or even a great vibe. Kinda really bummed about that hyped chicken being so off the mark. You can only play cute country gals and dudes in your cowboy boots for so long if the food is as...

Friday night was busy and the patio was full so we sat inside. When they sat us, they gave us a drink menu but no food menu. It took a little while to get a server to take our drink orders and she gave us the food menu at that time. A bit inefficient. When the server brought the drinks, we ordered our food. The cornbread we ordered came out 2 minutes after we ordered it! It was piping hot and delicious. The jalapeño peppers on top were not hot and gave the dish a great taste. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes appetizer, the ribs and fried chicken. Almost an hour later, the ribs and the tomatoes were delivered. The ribs were falling off the bone, but did not have nearly enough sauce. The fries were crispy hot and topped with Parmesan. Yummy. Half an hour after that, we were asked if we wanted a box. My husband asked about the fried chicken and the server said, “ you never got your chicken?” Since the server is also the person delivering the food…they should have known. The chicken came out 10 minutes later. By that point I was pretty full from sharing my husband’s meal so I only ate a leg. It was hot and crispy and flavorful. Good fried chicken We were there over two hours and were never offered another drink or water refill. Since the place has only been open for 3 or 4 weeks, we will wait a while and try it again. The food was good, the service and timing were horrendous. We’re hopeful they’ll get the rest of it together soon because it is a promising place, but we’ll wait a few months. We gave it 3 stars even with the bad service and timing only because it is so new and the...

We tried Duke and Boots for the first time last night. Decided to sit at the inside bar so we could watch the baseball game. We were the only ones at the bar, for a Saturday night at 7:30. There were two bartenders one was sitting at the end of the bar with another employee. We sat there for at least 5 minutes and we’re not even greeted, I was going to wait to see how long this was going to take but when the other bartender completely ignored us and was talking with the other employees. I asked if anyone was going to wait on us. He came over right away and was kind. Ordered drinks and food. I received silverware set up but my husband did not, I guess not included with a 21 dollar burger. They put the game on for us on all the TVs, another couple came in and wanted the hockey game on, knowing we were watching the Basketball game he changed the TV right in front of us. We asked about the pecan pie and ordered, after at least 20 minutes never got it and asked for our check. Very disappointed and I really liked the atmosphere, need to spend more time training your staff if you want to charge...
