Kava Sol — Restaurant in Willoughby

BEAUTIFUL in so many ways!!! The owners and their mission to spread light and love in the world, minus alcohol...yay!!! The space! Decorated and vibing with great energy...calm, hip, joyful...all the things you want in a space where you can work and play! The cocktails! I rated "Food" at 5 stars but that was for the cocktail menu. I went on a "Vacation" and LOVED it! It literally left me feeling lighter, happier, super social, and chill all at the same time...vacation... My husband's favorite was the signature "Kava Sol" served in a coconut bowl... he felt like he was on an island and loved the sustained energy from it, and the tropical taste. Location! Downtown Willoughby is super cool! But take note to the tricky part of where Kava Sol is actually...your map will take you to the main road, and you will be looking and not finding it. There's an alley next to Karma Kitchen...turn into it, Kava Sol's patio will be on the right hand side about 100 yds. There is parking back there also. Bottom-line give Kava Sol a try!!! If you know nothing about kava, that's cool...ask about it, get educated and take your time trying what you may like...let the experience sink in before ordering another cocktail...each person's experience is different. This is the best hidden gem, not only in Willoughby, but in all of Cleveland. It’s life changing! The atmosphere is soothing and relaxing, perfect for studying, reading a book, or playing games with friends. The kavatenders are simply amazing - they make you feel welcome and always ensure you are comfortable. They foster deep and meaningful conversations or they will keep it light if you don’t want much interaction. The drinks are quite delicious and there’s options for anyone, whether you want to feel focused, social, relaxed, you name it. There are flavors from sweet and decadent to earthy and bold. Kava Sol is the most inviting, intentional, and coziest place in Lake County. I am genuinely thankful that owner Lindsay Kronk saw what was needed and created a uniquely comfortable and collaborative space for new and old friends to gather. It may sound dramatic, but you can feel the love and intention poured into every detail -- from the home-like atmosphere to the always-updating menu and the weekly/monthly events and workshops. Each staffer takes pride in their craft and goes out of their way to be welcoming and genuinely kind to everyone who enters the door. I had never tried kava before visiting this location, and it's been so relaxing and fun to unwind without worrying about hangovers or disrupted sleep. Again, I'm so grateful that this space exists.
