I'd rate 0 stars if I could. We usually never go to this one because the workers and manager(s) are nasty people who have no problem yelling at you for their mistakes.
We tend to end up with missing food which is why we now park before leaving to make sure everything is there. And they have yet to get a order right. Last time we were there we asked and I quote for: "I'd like the 99 cent jr baconburger. Nothing on it, plain, ketchup only. Just the bacon and beef."
When we got it we started to leave (forgetting to park and check) and they were not only missing one of our items but my burger had everything on it. So we got online and told them what was wrong. They remade it and we left again ONLY to find the burger had cheese on it. So we got inline again and the cashier was mean and said basically we said the order wrong and were to blame.
So we got to the window and the aggressively grabbed the burger from us. We told them no need to be rude since they messed up. The manager came to the window and yelled at us saying "You didn't say it right, you have to say you want it plain, with no cheese!". I told them I have NEVER had to say that at any fast food place including other Wendys. They chewed me out and said its how they all operate.
I finally got the burger back and it looks like they only had one tiny piece of bacon and the burger was a bit cold. We just left and didn't bother coming back. We have not been back since then. We were told by another Wendys that the Eastlake one is known for...
Read more9 pm, just heading home from grandson's football scrimmage. Drive-thru was insanely busy, so husband parked and I went inside. The young man behind the counter was very helpful, considerate and friendly. The gentleman who took my order informed me, several minutes after I had placed our order, that the kitchen said they were out of chili. After that everything else went downhill.
Two other customers joined me at the counter. The second one of them finally got aggravated and left. The orders were messed up. The double that I had ordered for my husband was only a single. The fries did not seem too hot to begin with and, by the time the double was ready and handed over, they were not warm at all. Then I waited for the salad while the burger cooled. I felt sorry for the lone order-taker as he was apologizing to me every time he turned around. Not at all a good experience. Kudos, though, to the young man behind the counter for great effort.
As I mentioned, the counter gentleman reminded the chaotic kitchen, several times, that I was still waiting on our double, and shortly thereafter, that I was still waiting on my Caesar salad. I swear, at that point, someone in the kitchen replied to the concerned counter clerk, "Tell her we're open until 11." It was shortly after 9 pm. It will be awhile, if ever, before I go back to this particular Wendy's. If I do and if it is better I will certainly...
Read moreI have to agree with the many, many other people who left one star reviews for the Eastlake location. It is the absolute worst fast food restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of wasting my money at. Staff is rude, food is cold and of poor quality, orders are almost always incorrect and the wait time is ridiculously long. These issues have been ongoing for several years according to all of the reviews that I've read. The corporate office obviously doesn't care what quality food or service customers receive at this location since people have brought these issues to their attention and they have yet to be resolved. There seems to be a high turnover rate of employees at this location. Perhaps a change in ownership is what is necessary to improve the quality of the food and service they provide. One also has to question the period of time this Eastlake location was closed for remodeling only to reopen without any cosmetic changes having been made to the restaurant. It makes me wonder if perhaps there was some type of pest infestation.
Don't be fooled by the false positive reviews that were left by employees, friends and family members of said employees. This location should be avoided! Better to make the short drive up SOM Center Rd to the Willoughby location. Your taste buds and wallet will be...
