Blue cup roastery is awesome, I love their drinks and their service. The baristas are always so sweet and kind. Unfortunately, today I after ordering I was left with a bitter taste in service. As a customer, I believe in tipping based on excellent service. However, I did not feel as kindly served today, the barista was very annoyed and after not tipping made a sour remark that I overheard through the window. I am not one to seek out conflict of any sort so I would leave that up to the establishment to fix the microaggressions by their employees. Having worked in consumer service, I understand that things can get stressful but it's a life rule to treat others the way you want to be treated. I love local coffee roasters and cafes. I would much rather spend my money supporting local businesses than larger retail chains. The problem, is that sometimes the big chains have a better product. That is absolutely NOT the case with Blue Cup Roastery. Their coffee is second to none and so is the service. They are always friendly and always make great recommendations.
