Read moreWalked to Bojangles from my hotel to get breakfast at 7:15am on a Saturday and found the doors locked but employees inside and the drivethru operating normally. Knocked on the door to ask why the lobby was closed it to be ignored. Did this multiple times, ignored every time. Called the store phone and could hear it ringing from outside yet nobody would answer. I could see the employees just standing around and ignoring the phone as well as me (and another customer by this point) standing at the locked lobby door. At this point it was 7:35am. It began raining and I did not have an umbrella and became drenched bc I'd walked to the restaurant. I decided to walk over to the drivethru window and ask what was going on. I knocked on the window and they ignored me yet again. I waited till a car came around to pick up their food and when they opened the drivethru window to give them their food I asked politely why the lobby was locked. All while standing in the rain bc there was no shelter to stand beneath. I was once again ignored but when the man at the window needed another straw and the lady opened the window again, I asked heatedly why they were ignoring me, my phone calls, disregarding their own business hours and demanded to know why. The lady called me a b*tch and said "because we don't feel like opening the lobby yet..mind your own business." Shocked, I asked her if she was serious and she said they "might open the lobby around 9" but they "hadn't decided." I ended up walking back to the hotel without having been able to eat a bite, thoroughly drenched from the rain and disgusted by their ridiculous excuse for "employees" and the blatant disregard for the very thing that keeps their unearned paychecks coming...the customers. I swore I would NEVER set foot on ANY Bojangles' property again nor would I ever patronize their establishment or spend a single penny on them in any way, shape, fashion or form ever again. If I could have given them a zero star rating I would have. Actually, they deserve a NEGATIVE...
Read moreI came here with a door dash order at the aforementioned time for a customer. Upon arrival, I notice there are irate customers waiting for food and people waiting to order. Not busy, say 4 cars in the drive thru and maybe 5 tickets inside. The girl waiting in the drive thru comes inside and shows her receipt to the employee, who verifies, then proceeds to walk to the register in the slowest pace I have ever seen in my 20 years of restaurant management. All of your employees here seem to had that pace. Not a drop of sweat on them, not a concern in the world. Literally dragging their feet. Loud music playing in the kitchen and not a manager in sight. If so, not a good manager. Not a single employee had a smile. Every time I watched a customer interact with an employee, I could feel the daggers thrown at them. The audacity to ask them to do anything.
Needless to say, once I was actually approached by someone, my order wasn't ready. This is at 7:10 PM. Once 7:25 PM hit, I could t take it anymore. Being ignored by everyone and watching them have ZERO sense of urgency or accountability was so frustrating. I then got in my car and drove into the drive thru lane to pick up the same order. After getting to the window, the employee tried to get me to come inside the store. I refused. I said that ive been waiting inside for 30 minutes and im just going to sit here until it's ready. The other employee inside (very young and thin lady with skull cap) barks back "you ain't getting no food acting like that" i said "tell your manager that he "ain't" getting any more sales in this drive thru window until I do" No response, no manager. I sit for another 3- 5 minutes while they prepare the food.
You have some of the worst employees ever here. Seems like it's time for a corporate sweep...
