Coterie Cafe + Kitchen — Restaurant in Wilmington

First time trying this restaurant as it is new to Wilmington and DoorDash. I'm home sick and was trying to find something nutritious that wouldn't deviate too far from my healthy lifestyle and this was a fantastic choice all around.

The first positive was the "Thank You" handwritten on my bag, an establishment that immediately shows appreciation for the customer is a great sign! I ordered the kale salad which was very fresh and all of the ingredients were perfectly balanced. I added the Moroccan chicken which was full of flavor and grilled well while still being juicy! The dressing helped with eating as my throat is sore due to this sinus infection. I didn't eat the pasteis de nata yet but I was pleasantly pleased to find that I receieved 2 because every delivery this week comes with one and I had ordered one!

My order also was promptly prepared and delivered. If this is the type of service receieved via delivery, I cannot wait to visit. There was even an ingredient missing in my salad that when I reached out via social media my feedback was well received and concern addressed; again reason for high service rating! This meal certainly made me feel a little better! Thank you!...

What I loved most was the elegant atmosphere at Coterie Cafe * Kitchen. This cozy cafe serves the local community and makes everyone feel at home. The vibe was calm and relaxing, with coffeehouse-lounge music playing in the background. Whether you're looking to work, read, or simply unwind, this cafe is the perfect spot.

The squash waffle I ordered for breakfast was incredibly tasty. The waffle itself was light and airy, with zucchini mixed into the batter. It came with boiled eggs and foam, making for a nutritious and filling breakfast. Their unique cappuccino flavors also impressed me, particularly the Samoa Cappucino, which tasted just like Samoa Girl Scout cookies. The coconut, caramel, and mocha shots blended together perfectly.

The ambience here is warm and friendly, a nice local café. The service is excellent everyone was very professional and attentive. We were a party of two and ordered the french toast and the omelette.

The french toast was ordered with a side of bacon & cappuccino. The French toast was excellent fluffy and not overly sweet. The bacon was thick cut, I asked for extra crispy and I received extra crispy, I really appreciated that. The sausage omlette was ordered with hash-browns & cappuccino. The omelette was light and fluffy and the greens that came with it were farm fresh. The hash browns were prepared in a unique way similar to a mini potato casserole which was lovely.
