Dunkin' — Restaurant in Wilmington

Well the place is under construction so that’s why they got a low score for atmosphere plus it’s just not a Bright and Cherry place. It’s kind of always crowded. Poor lighting donuts looks stale… so that’s the vibe. Now, when I walked in, there was a man complaining about the way his coffee drink was made. He said it wasn’t made like they made it yesterday and it wasn’t made the way they typically make it. He said it was missing whip, cream, and caramel on top. She added the whip cream and caramel, but he still was irritated that she was trying to give him a different version. I told him not to let it ruin his day. But then when it came to my drink, which was the refresher mango refresher - she didn’t make my drink right either. So now it was my turn to be upset. To her credit, she did remake it three times until it was right. so I don’t understand what was going on but service was semi good. The actual drink wasn’t so great and the atmosphere is not...

I have come here several times to get Avacado Toast, or should I say Avacado bread because its never actually toasted. I have twice asked them to fix it and actually toast it. When asking them to actually toast an untoasted Avacado Toast I even specifically said "extra, extra toasted, very brown and crispy" make sure you toast it really well. I then watched the guy set the toaster oven for 3 seconds (yes, seriously, only 3 seconds for bread I asked to be over toasted). I got slightly warm and floppy after the first attempt was totally cold and likely not even put in the toaster. They didn't even bother taking the spread off the top when they put it in for 3 seconds. It tasted terrible. I wasn't going to ask them to fix it a third time. I give up, not going back. Every other Dunkin I've been to toasts it...

.I requested a hot Vanilla Chai. I was given a Chai. I wanted Vanilla Chai. I asked 1st because I knew many DD don't have it. I did get a refund so that was cool. I also bought egg & bacon on croissant, that was fine. And I bought a glazed donut, I asked for another because the one I had was noticably not at all fresh. Last thing, they need to do better with cleaning the counter on side customer sees (stands to place order).. Very evident the counter hadn't been wiped in several hours/ hard spots and plenty of crumbs.. I started to say something but I already had 2 issues. Didn't want to add anymore stress to their day. I believe in 2nd & 3rd chances, so I may visit again since I travel that way often. I hope the counter is clean next...
