Nick's Pizza Roast Beef and Subs — Restaurant in Wilmington

I moved to Wilmington about 9 months ago and have ordered from Nicks religiously. They have messed up my order before and I never called and complained because I’ve worked in the restaurant industry myself my whole life and it happens especially on busy nights. Well recently I have been ordering from them about once a week sometimes more ( I always tip the drivers very well). And tonight being 7 months pregnant and starving after a long day I called when my sub wasn’t what I ordered. Instead of offering to fix it the girl argued with me all while telling me that she knows I order there A LOT and then said “Well to be honest we close in ten minutes so I don’t know what you want me to do” I am extremely disappointed in their service (or lack thereof) They definitely just lost me...

Called shortly after they opened to order a sheet pizza to be delivered for my kid's birthday party over an hour later at 12:30pm a mile from them. They asked for a time window instead and I offered 12:30-12:45; they accepted.

At 1:30, I arrived at the restaurant to pick up the pizza as it hadn't arrived yet and the party was nearly over. It was still cooking an hour after it was originally requested to be delivered.

They refunded $2 to my card - the delivery fee - as I picked it up myself in the end.

The pizza was ok, not great. The "sheet pizza" was actually two smaller sheets, so more crust than you'd expect. Came across like a large version of elios frozen pizza.

I have no interest in coming here again; disappointed...

This place is by tops my favorite take out restaurant not only is there food outstanding but the customer service you receive here is goes beyond an above. From the daughter an son who are so friendly an respectful always makes you feel like your part of there own family. Always smiling, an so respectful. Such hard workers The parents are always so kind an will call you an make sure you want what you ordered online if they have questions they just are a great family owned business an so clean inside an fast service. I truly wouldn’t go to another restaurant my favorite is there steak tip salad with Greek dressing. An xtra pita. Definitely try this business if you haven’t yet you...
