Where do I even begin.... I recently moved to Boston and have been looking for someone to microblade my eyebrows for a while. I stumbled upon Sokkha's instagram because i was intrigued at the fact she called herself "Brow Lady." I scrolled through most of her instagram just looking at her work and after a few months I decided I was going to make an appointment. Although I was originally hoping to get my brows done in January by the time I had tried to book she was already booked out until March ! That's when I further realized this girl is clearly one of the best in Mass. Yesterday I had my appointment at 2pm. Just walking up the stairs I knew this was going to be a great appointment. She had a welcome sign with my name on it right outside the studio door. The ambiance inside was just as comfortable and included: snacks, coffee, and water. Sokkha is a mix of good energy, great personality, and extremely thorough. Before starting the appointment she sat down with me and spoke to me about what I was hoping to achieve other than amazing eyebrows. She even took the time to get to know my skin care regime and explained that certain products that I am currently using would affect the shade of my eyebrows, ultimately making them fade faster. We started the process by brow mapping she explained what all of the lines meant and where she was going to be adding hair like strokes/ shading. Before doing anything permanent she made sure I was comfortable with how my eyebrows were mapped and if I felt that anything needed to be adjusted. The procedure itself was harmless and after we were finished I loved the way my eyebrows came out. All in all Sokkha was amazing I felt like I walked in there just expecting to get my eyebrows done, but I walked out feeling like I made a new friend. Ladies, if you are like me and barely have any eyebrows or are just unhappy with the way they look, then you need to book with Sokkha ASAP! I have been following Sokkha’s work for a few months after a recommendation from a friend, and she is truly an artist. From the booking process all the way to the final touches, Sokkha’s service was phenomenal!

Booking through her website was super easy. Everything is laid out from before care, after care, policies, what to expect, and even videos showing you everything you need to know. I appreciated how in depth her website was and how much it let me know what to expect. I barely had any questions when I met her LOL!

Sokkha treats you like family. I was greeted with a friendly hug and she gave off the vibe that she truly cared about MY expectations. I admit I was hesitant at first, I barely wear makeup and wanted to make sure she gave me a natural look that was not too noticeable. She did not disappoint! Sokkha is a perfectionist, so even when you think your brows looks good, if she is not in love with the shape herself, she will adjust it many times until she gets the “I love it!” feeling.

Originally I only booked for the microblading strokes. After the microblading was finished, Sokkha recommended the shading for me. I debated in my head a few times until I decided to do it. Boy was I in love with my brows when she was done! The color and shape of my brow was sooo beautiful. I never knew how much full eyebrows could really enhance your face. I have already gotten so many compliments on it!

I don't know where to even begin. To say my eyebrows were my biggest insecurity is the understatement of the year. Now I can honestly say they're one of my favorite features. Since I walked out of that studio the compliments haven't stopped. The whole process was actually from start to finish so enjoyable. First walking in the studio is gorgeous ( love her style) and everything is so clean. I brought my brutally honest friend and was a little worried but by the end Sokkha, was not only almost in tears with me over how happy I was, but hugging my friend as well. Who absolutely loved her and my eyebrows. She was incredibly professional, you can tell she can not only read and know her client's, but she also spends time getting to know you and exactly what you want, what your concerns are etc. She knows her stuff! She was patient, asked questions, listened, and gave her expert advice. She mapped them out perfectly and numbed my eyebrows before hand and I couldn't feel a single thing. Being an ICU nurse of course I noticed how sterile she stayed and how everything she used was opened out of new packaging. The moment I was done and looked in the mirror I honestly teared up because they were exactly what I described. You can tell she truly cares and takes such pride in what she does. She makes you feel so comfortable and like you've known her forever. I wish I had done this sooner. It's the best money you could ever spend and there's nobody I could recommend more highly then her.
