Nutrition Revolution — Restaurant in Wilmington

Two mornings ago, I stopped by Nutrition Revolution for the first time to try one of their HerbaLife Shakes and a Tea Bomb. Nutrition Revolution was my 5th "Nutrition" (Healthy-Lifestyle Shake / Smoothie / Bowl) establishment I have visited in the Wilmington area in the past few months, so I was curious to see how they fared against some others I have visited, in my quest to try each and every one along the local coast.

"FOOD": 16 oz. Strawberry Banana HerbaLife Shake ($7.75) for my wife and I ordered a 16 oz. S'more's HerbaLife Shake ($8.75), both including a tea bomb ahead of the shakes. The HerbaLife products and flavors continue to amaze me. Creamy, delicious and healthy. The S'mores Shake was well-blended and included a sprinkling of small marshmallows on top and my wife said hers was very good as well. The full 16 oz. cup should keep your hunger pains at bay for approx. 2 - 3 hrs before you'll feel some rumbling again. It took no time at all to drink them down in bliss. Great shakes, pleasantly cold tea bombs and pricing, in-line compared to some others. Two noticeable differences and possible opportunities to provide an elite experience I could distinguish after finishing my "meal" were: 1. Presentation is simple. Some shake creations I have ordered elsewhere were presented as delicate art & tasted wonderful; these did not have that quality of artistic presentation. 2. 16 oz. portion size for an average price of approx. $8.25 with no additional upgrades. I take this into consideration only bc it's comparable to an HerbaLife shake with 20% more and the added tea bomb for $9 not far from Nutrition Revolution. I'll let you do the math on your own. Aside from these, Nutrition Revolution has a large variety of incredible shakes and are customizable to fit your lifestyle and goals. SCORE: 4 STARS!!

SERVICE: The young baristas were informative, friendly, polite, knowledgable and offered up some suggestions as we observed the menu. Timing was super fast considering they accomodated 6 orders within a 6 minute window. A racing pit crew would appreciate this staff's speed. The establishment is very clean, vibrant and offers an abundance of HerbaLife products you can take home with you. Where Nutrition Revolution stands apart, is the interior setup. Some nutrition places have very minimal decor and possess more of a Dr.'s office feel...NR feels more like DQ, GNC and Starbucks had a merger. As wonderful as the service and ambience is, I still couldn't help but notice that neither barista chose to wear any form of a mask. I'm not 100 percent positive nor certain if it's still mandated, but it would have been nice to see the baristas taking extreme caution, serving up to the general public. I don't like these masks either, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Just my opinion and 2 cents on the matter though! SCORE: 4 STARS!!

OVERALL SCORE: Smooth, cold, delicious and healthy shake options to supplement your next meal are just waiting for you at Nutrition Revolution. The staff was very good, flavors are there and I love the location. HerbaLife rocks! However, I feel there may be some details to look over again in an effort to pull away from nearby competition and by taking zero risks of playing roulette with COVID-19. Thank you again for the pleasant service, delish shakes and the tea bombs. I was full and satisfied after finishing! ...

Absolutely terrible. Shakes were good but they wore no masks and clearly have no concern about the pandemic. The whole place had a weird mess vibe. I was scared when I walked out. Don’t recommend. Weird experience.

This place promotes health and wellness but clearly doesn’t believe in COVID, there are no precautions except for a flimsy piece of plastic that’s basically Saran Wrap hanging in front of the register and the employees don’t wear masks. Gave off a really weird vibe and I felt super uncomfortable the whole time. The drinks are okay but it was overall a very strange experience and I did not...
