Chingon Mexican Restaurant Review
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chingon Mexican Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Nestled in a cozy spot with vibrant decor and a lively atmosphere, Chingon immediately sets the stage for an authentic Mexican dining experience.
The menu is extensive and offers a delightful variety of traditional Mexican dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and an evident passion for flavor. I started with their guacamole, which was perfectly seasoned and served with warm, crispy tortilla chips. The margaritas are a must-try; they were refreshing and expertly crafted, providing the perfect complement to the meal.
For the main course, I opted for the carne asada, which was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying sides of rice and beans were equally impressive, adding to the overall satisfaction of the dish. My dining companion chose the enchiladas verdes, and they were equally delighted by the rich, tangy tomatillo sauce and the generous portions.
The service at Chingon is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and ensure that our dining experience was exceptional.
In addition to the delicious food and excellent service, Chingon also boasts a warm and inviting ambiance. The colorful decor, lively music, and comfortable seating create the perfect setting for a memorable meal.
Overall, Chingon Mexican Restaurant is a gem. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out with friends or a special occasion, this place has something for everyone. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their mouthwatering menu. Highly...
Read moreThe food was ok but the primary cause for the bad review was due to the service and pure lack of professionalism. My wife has a food sensitivity to anything made with sour cream. When the food was brought out it was drowning in sour cream(no sour cream was depicted in description or picture on menu). My wife explained her sensitivity to server so she took the food back to the kitchen, wiped the sauce off, flips it over, and brought it back like it was a new dish. Naturally in most professional settings, especially in the food industry, this is an unacceptable practice. So my wife took food back again and asked for a refund and no replacement dish.
The second part is the most appalling. While we were still there, my wife left a review reflecting our experience. The manager finally came to our table and expressed his disapproval of our review and that we need to change it. Not one ounce of remorse for the misunderstanding but rather he narcissistically made it seem like it was my wife’s problem.
As a fellow business owner I have been in the wrong before and did everything I could after the fact to make my customers experience better. I have never spun things around to try and make them feel dumb. This is a poorly ran establishment and we will...
Read moreNot impressed. I ordered three tacos and a side order of french fries. This place is definitely on the pricey side of the scale. The first thing I noticed was that the tortillas actually felt cold, almost as if they had recently come out of a refrigerator. The meat inside of the taco was also warm certainly not hot as if it had been freshly prepared. The portions were not a good size in my opinion for the money that they charge.
The tacos tasted average at best The french fries were really good. The chips were average. I did not like their salsa, but that’s just a personal preference.
There were two young ladies sitting at a table when I got in there as they were slow. They acted as though I was annoying them or interrupting them. The young lady who took my order, obviously is not familiar with how to make change as she shorted me a dollar, but was not worth the argument when I tried. I then asked if it was possible to get a side of sour cream and guacamole. On the screen, it had one price, but she was telling me it was another price. That raised another red flag.
Either way, I was not impressed and...
