JP THE Host was amazing. And i dont say this lightly. His over all energy for this outback location was illuminating to say the least. Right away he saw us and found a clean table and there was no wait on this sunday night. We sat down within a minutes time was given our menus and then waters and bread immediately. Soon as i got mywater i started playing with the ingruvments in the glasses pattern and he acknowledge right away asking me if the glass of water was dirty and if i wanted him to replace it. i laughed and said oh no im just having fun playing with the patterns of the glass and we started talking. I thanked him for acknowledging me and taking such good care of us since this was the first time weve been out to eatin in weeks and the last time we went somewhere else(wont mention where) we sat down for almost 40 mins an didnt even get water or have one staff member look in our direction while they went around and took the orders of people who sat down after us. Tha placebi will not name is one of my favorite places but since then the Outback has gained my respect again. I use to work here for a limited time back in 2007 or so and let me just say it has changed and come along way since. The energy feel clean and pure now compared to almost 20 years ago. Everyone in that restaurant that worked there that night was great and worked together very smoothly. Everyone helped and our waiter either Ben or Dan was patient and got our in and to us before we could even start to feel our tummy growl which is a win in my book. Ate or food which was delicious and i was able to put a take out order in for my mother. I asked them to put everything thats on her burger on the side so she could build it her self and in fact they listened and did a great job with my moms meal. thankyou JP and all the staff members that took care of us. JP is a hard worker from what i witnessed and he deserved a Mvp award for being apart of helping make this last outback vist a perfect experience for having dinner with my significant other. Thankyou
P.s i want to add that Kate and Val are definitely 100% ifno could give them both individual stars it would be over10. They are also a huge piece to the outback of wiltons puzzle and theyre what makes the atmosphere feel most like home! Thankyou ladys for all you do. And the a the other employees keep up...
Read moreWe’ve been coming here at least a decade and it never really occurred to me to leave a review but our experience Saturday night was frustrating enough that I felt obligated to share my thoughts. We arrived at 5:34 and gave our name to the hostess who said it’d be a 10-15 minute wait. We watched as three groups of the same size who came after us with no call ahead got seated before finally deciding to ask just around 6pm. When looking at the list, our name was no longer there, so best guess is the clearly incompetent hostesses gave our table away to someone else. I believe they were also on the schedule the last time we came and they looked just as clueless then too, so I’d suggest at minimum more training for the two of them.
Once seated, in the mix of all of this was the noticeably vocal food runner complaining about tickets repeatedly being sent to the wrong table (three separate orders came to our table that weren’t for us, good comedic relief with a clearly exasperated runner) and what felt like a more senior server (his name was John, I know because she loudly yelled for him) calming her down within earshot of at least 3 tables by explaining that it was a case of the waiters not doing their jobs right. I liked his vibe, not complaining about that part, just clearly was a messy night for everyone.
Our main course then came before our appetizer which our waiter was very apologetic about, but then turns out they’d already sold the last serving. One of the chefs came out to apologize and explain what happened and asked what he could do to make it right. It happens, but it would’ve been nice to have been informed earlier and not 5 minutes after our entrees arrived.
Our waiter, I think his name was Corey, did significantly make up for it to the best of his ability, so kudos to him for being the one competent person we dealt with all night, but all in all, a pretty hectic, disorganized visit...
Read moreToday I end up stopping in to Outback with my girlfriend after work. First time coming to this location. I had the 8oz sirloin medium well the sirloin was salty, burnt on top not seared and ask for medium well. She had the same steak with shrimp her steak was more on the bloody side and also both steak and shrimp salty. We was both hungry so we just ate partial of the food and having a conversation about how they need to find a new cook. When the waiter came and ask how is everything we told him what we thought and they also forgot my girlfriends mash potatoes. Waiter was very nice great attitude and did apologize and said he was going to get the manager to talk to us. Few moments later they brought up the mashed potatoes and a minute or so the manger came. We was practically was half way done and she mention if we wanted new steaks or to get the food recooked and the problem was due to getting use to new cooking equipment. I told her no we was already half way through our food and we are hungry because we both were just getting off work and didn’t want to wait to get a new order. I also mention that making us new steaks doesn’t change the person who cooked it. Plus new equipment should not be used as an excuse as I thought that in my mind. She apologize again and said if you want us to remake it we still refused she said fine and will check back with us in a few minutes. We finished our meal about 10-15 minutes passed by no waiter no manager no bill we want to go home. So my girlfriend spots our waiter and ask for a check. He mention did she take care of you guys and all she offer was to remake our food and never checked back with us. So we grabbed the check payed and left the restaurant. Will not be going back to this location at all! I have posted a picture of my meal half...
