Awful. So crammed inside. You can barely have two carts in one aisle without causing major traffic jam even when itās not all that busy. Staff look miserable and not a single one asks if they can help you. When you ask for help, good luck!!! Horrendous lines- again, even during not busy hours. Pricey compared to other Walmart stores Iāve been to. Also, ordered photos online and paid with credit card but when I went to pick them up, she tells me payment didnāt go through and āthis happens to a lot of people!ā Well... sounds like a glitch they need to fix. Took my daughter to restroom and though it was on the clean side for a public restroom, the lights went out while we were trying to get out of the stall. Operated by a motion sensor probably...only it is by the front door! So lights donāt come back on until someone else walks in!!!ā This was fun...! :( Tried āSpeedy checkoutā line with one person in front of us (and 2 clerks there talking). Clearly another issue was occurring because we werenāt attended to at all so I gave up and moved to self checkout. Of course, another problem occurs... āsystem is busy...please holdā. I couldnāt wait to get out of there then we go to walk back to car and parking lot is so flooded...but the rain was crazy so I guess they canāt do much about that unless they put a couple new drains in! Staff is always confused when approached for questions, and buying and returning products is unthinkable; even with three staff members handling the Customer Service counter, consumers still have to wait upward of 30+ minutes for their turn. We are not talking about a long line around the block, maybe 10 people waiting on line, max. Upon observation the staff member punches a few buttons in the system and it takes minutes for the register to return one return ticket, and then the staff member has to punch a few buttons again to get the register to return 2 more tickets for the customer. Iām sure people will continue to frequent Walmart Norwalk because of the price and product selection, but as soon as a comparable supplier becomes available in the immediate vicinity, people will be redirecting their business.
