I would give this 0 stars if I could. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been going to this place for months because it is the closest local sports bar to where I am living, and the service is consistently terrible. The waitresses always look super annoyed by your presence. This is a "sports bar" and 2 of the last times I went they had soccer games on every single TV when there was elite 8 March Madness games going on. When the waitress was asked to change the channel to CBS, she replied by saying "We don't have CBS", which is an insult to my intelligence because I've been there with CBS on. There must be 12 TVs in this place, 12 of them are showing the SAME SOCCER GAME, and when I asked for 1 of them to show March Madness they could not be troubled to make this accommodation. While I admit this should have been my last time visiting this establishment, my friends and I foolishly went back because as I said, it is the only sports bar that is not a massive inconvenience to get to. When my friends and I walked in and asked for a table, the waitress replied with "I hope you guys brought your IDs because last time they were fake". Keep in mind, we have been going 1-2 times a month since about November and have happily showed our IDs every time we were there, and are multiple years over legal drinking age. Despite this confuddling interaction we still decided to sit down and when asked to change the channel to TNT (a Marquee NBA game, Bucks/Nets was on, and the TVs were mostly showing Spring Training Baseball), she replied by saying "We don't have TNT", which was too much for us to take. We happily got up and left and went to the next closest sports bar which was a massive inconvenience for us but still worth it because this place did not deserve our business. This place does a lot of things right and it is a shame that it gets overshadowed by its insulting displays of "customer service". We will not be returning, and they lost...
Read moreWe went to Tavern on Seven to celebrate my friend's birthday. There was plenty of parking. We did not have to wait for a table.
The atmosphere inside the establishment was lively and family-friendly. There were multiple televisions throughout the space on various sports channels. Some patrons sat at the bar while others dined at tables. I saw several families with small children in high chairs. There was a cozy sitting room off to the side with leather seating.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. My table immediately received menus and our drink orders. The menu was big but manageable. They had a great brunch selection which included chocolate chip, blueberry, and Nutella pancakes. French toast, omelettes and a variety of breakfast plates were also available.
It did not take forever for our waitress to take our meal order. My table ordered 12 piece chicken wings. We requested them extra crispy since the can be a little limp if you don't ask. They arrived hot, crispy and thick. It was enough for the two of us but would be great as an individual meal.
I ordered the crab cake sandwich with French fries. I loved the generous portions of shoestring fries. They we're flavorful and crunchy. The crab cake sandwich was ok. It was more filler than crab. It was crispy and a little to oily for my liking. I would not order the crab cake sandwich again but I would eat the French fries all day long.
We did not eat dessert but the selection included items such as brownie sundae, Tiramisu, and bread pudding.
I had a really good meal at Tavern on 7 (minus the crab cake sandwich). The atmosphere was fun and the service was friendly. They also have mimosas if that is your thing. It's...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Tavern 7, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, the staff provided top-notch service that made me feel truly welcome.
Now, let's talk about the food. It was simply outstanding. I had the opportunity to try their Chicken Francese, and it was nothing short of amazing. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a delightful golden crust. The sauce was a perfect balance of tangy and savory, complementing the chicken beautifully. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more.
Aside from the incredible dish, the overall atmosphere of Tavern 7 was cozy and inviting. The ambiance was relaxed yet stylish, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Overall, I can't recommend Tavern 7 enough. If you're looking for a restaurant with exceptional food and service, this is the place to go. Don't miss out on the Chicken Francese—it's truly awesome. I'll definitely be returning to Tavern 7 for more culinary delights...
