This is one of those hidden gems you definitely want to visit once to try it out. That visit will keep you coming back for years.
I've been coming here for closer to 4 years now and they only keep getting better. It's the perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth with over 40, that's not a typo, forty flavors of ice cream. during today's visit, I counted 44 flavors, many which I've never seen anywhere else. Tequila flavored ice cream anyone? What about Mazapan or even sweet corn? Just ask to try them, they were much better than I thought they'd be. They also have refreshing fruit drinks and more Hispanic favorite snacks than you knew even existed.

It is a happy shop with sweet and savory items, all prepared on site by the owners, who are extremely quality, value and customer conscious. Choose from vibrantly colored and culture based treats (ice cream, aguas frescas and tons more) with interesting flavors that contain fruits and candies from south of the border. The place is packed with locals who are in the know about where to get the best sugar-fix in town.

I asked if it was Mexican corn (white corn) which is not sweet, and they told me it was, but in reality it had a mix of white corn with a nice texture and flavor, with what seem to be canned yellow corn which was to soft and has a sweet flavor (and probably cheaper). It was pretty warm but the flavor was not so good.
Another day we had the doriloco, everything was perfect but the pork strips in brine were too big, .... too chunky. It was hard to grab them with the spoon/fork. It would be nice if they chopped them off. Maybe asking the customer if they want it...
