China A Go Go (Desert Inn) — Restaurant in Winchester

So this is an unfortunate review. I've been coming here few times a week and thought it was great. Everything was good until today. A new server was on duty and it was fairly busy and the basicaly imploded! I asked for my order and sat at the table like i always do ready to eat. I even pretipped(i'll never do this again, going to wait until i'm actually happy with the service first). She brought me food in a takeaway container. I told her sorry i'm wanting to eat in(they never asked). She unbags it and leaves me the box and plastic fork. At this point i'm dissapointed by her service and kindly ask for a plate and utensils. She returns with a small side plate and no utensils. I take it back and ask for bigger plate and fork. This next part drew the line for me! She proceeds to throw the plate on the side(high display of bad attituide towards me and at this point i just stop her and tell her she has bad attituide i'll just take the food to go and as a result of this i'll never eat here again. To the owner: I like the shop, food and all other staf, ate here 3 times week for 2 weeks. No idea who served me today but i highly reccomend you correct her attituide or let her go immediatley. My husband and I were trying them for the first time we ordered the beef peppered steak with fried rice on their lunch special and was really interested in trying the orange chicken but we were scared to because my husband is a Panda Express fanatic really only for the orange chicken so he's scared to try the orange chicken but since the food that we ordered was so amazing it was fresh hot quick and by the way the food was delivered and it probably was delivered a lot quicker than if we would have drove there ordered it ourself and brought it back home we were already eating and I would say less than 15 minutes not only wants our food amazing but I ordered the malasadas and I'm a Polynesian native from Honolulu Hawaii and I just thought to myself if you're calling it malasadas we should give it a try it says fried donuts but when I called the numbers or the food for delivery the Asian girl that I place the order with said malasadas so that had me right there LOL but again I just wanted to say amazing service guys amazing food and a little pricey the things on the menu but I think it's well worth it if their food is anything like what we already ate for the rest of anything else that's on their menu so I recommend them I say five stars and I'm willing to try them again thanks so much guys I...

afaik, the place is relatively new and since it's close by I was eager to try. It's clean and the food came out very quickly but here's the thing. If you want to run a fast food place, you need to prep all the work to make a meal that can be reheated and/or cooked very quickly. So everybody knows that chinese food contains lots of variety of veggies and that's good. And raw is supposed to be better for you, right. But the quality of cooking is getting the right balance between texture and taste. What I got was a lot of veggies, mostly uncooked with a sauce thrown over and into a wok. I think the chicken was probably pre-cooked as well. It was good. The sauce was very nice and the food wasn't cold at all but with so many uncooked veggies, not the best takeout I've had. Plus I would have preferred the rice and the entree all in one plate rather than try to mix them while eating. Will I go back, sure but it won't be at the top of my list. Maybe I just got there on an off day. Maybe they will find that balance and get the texture right, don't know. All I know is that their formula works because they're popping up everywhere so maybe...
