Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Winchester

We pulled into the parking lot & stopped by the drink specials that are posted on the wall in front of the dumpsters. then we went through the drive through & ordered our drinks. while waiting in line after ordering, the manager comes out and tells us her employee came back inside from cleaning the bathrooms bc we made them uncomfortable because we were staring at them? we didn’t even SEE an employee outside, we were looking the opposite way! it’s obvious to me that this employee just didn’t want to clean the bathrooms so she lied to her manager so she wouldn’t have to clean them. and the manager literally JUST came out to tell us we made her employee uncomfortable, and made it seem that we should apologize for such. and we did, we also explained we were looking at the special drinks on the wall. she reiterated again that we made her employee uncomfortable, then walked back inside. no “sorry for accusing you of being creepy,” or “thank you for your business,” or “have a good night,” or anything! incredibly unprofessional, very embarrassing, i will not be spending any more money...

I believe in giving a second chance to everyone however not a third...both of our visits here have been very unpleasant...this last time the worst after finding a hair in my food I brought it to the staffs attention and they proceed to get me a manager which was so rude after he looks at the food and clearly sees the hair on my burger without saying a word he slames it in the trash and re-makes a new one...but once I have found a hair in my food anytime my appetite is ruined I was no longer hungry and just wanted my money back..once he comes back to hand me my re-made burger I ask him nicely for my money back telling him I had no appetite now..he aggressively opens up the drawer hands my money back and without saying anything walks away.. I own my own business and I would NEVER treat any guest of mine like that!! Let's don't forget manager named Steve our customers and guest pay our bills!!Had I been rude or in the wrong even still it should have been handled not so rude!! Hope you treat your staff better than you do your guest.. Good luck and God...

I wouldn't know what the food tastes like because I was never waited on. I drove up to the menu/speaker with intentions to place an order and no one answered. We waited for a good 10 minutes and finally drove around to the window. The young lady at the window saw us and kept talking to her co-workers. Finally, when she saw that I wasn't going anywhere, she opened the window to see what I wanted. I asked her how does one make an order here and she rolled her eyes and said that you have to make it at the speaker(like duh) and told me to drive back around. I didn't even explain that I just did that and not one person answered. I went on home and fixed dinner for myself and daughters. The cheaper and healthier option anyways. I've noticed a shift in the fast good industry within the last 3-4 years that for the most part, good service is almost...
