Sakura Express — Restaurant in Winchester

I really wish we had a Sakura Express here in Richmond KY. However if there was one in Richmond. I'm very sure my waistline would gain a couple of inches as i'd be eating there quite often. Starting here. When I worked in Winchester KY. I stop by Sakura Express. Now a lot of people reading this might smile and laugh at my craziness. But, I'm going to tell you I get very excited about food I LOVE. Chinese Food while great. Nobody that i've visited with can compare to how The Japanese do fast food!!! Gentlemen, Ladies, Boys and Girls of All Ages Gather around. Picture that square take out order box at a Chinese Food. Then picture that same box. with delicious tender mouthwatering pieces of Hibachi Steak, with White Japanese Rice, and Vegetables.. Served with YUM YUM SAUCE. I popped a piece into my mouth, And Mmmmm... Mmm Mmm.. Wait i'm working here so i'm confused as to how I made it to food heaven?!? Needless to say as a Guy I got lots for the money you paid and sometime. I couldn't finish it All. That's right the box of food at times WON. They also have chicken like the steak it comes in Either Hibachi style. You know what. typing this here make me want to get in my car. AND GET ME SOME FOOD from Sakura's!!! Anyhow. Bravo for Winchester on getting a fast food Japanese Restaurant. They really dumbed down a menu concept that allows for fast friendly service. They offer hibachi with your choice of meat/veggies and rice or Soba noodles with your choice of meat/veggie. That for the most part is their menu. They do sell egg rolls and other items as sides but its all kind of straight to the point. I reluctantly stopped in here one night and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean on the inside with the normal Asian decor and colors with a very friendly and smiling staff. My food was bagged and ready in just a few minutes with huge serving sizes. It was a thousand times faster than the McDonalds here. I have stopped here a couple times already and have not been disappointed either time. And they have a freaking drive thru. VERY poor customer service... ordered 5 meals that came to 56 dollars and they got every single one of them wrong 4 out of the 5 were supposed to be noodles every single one of them were rice and one was supposed to be double they and i they gave me a single thing of steak. Called the store and explained what was going on and they told me "you can bring it back right now and get a full refund or you can put it in the fridge and bring it back some other day".... because i didn't drive over a hour and half round trip put my food in my fridge and make another trip a different day for a refund the main issue is the person was very aggrivated that i even called how about get people order right if you don't want someone to call because you messed your order up and just get works that listen and care about their job cause clearly with the way my experience was they don't, just lost a customer from me...
