Generally speaking, of all the FF burger chains I like Wendy's food the best. Their burgers taste much better than the others & I also like their salads which are tastey and well balanced with toppings. Their line of lemonaids are absolutely delicious! And of course their chili is still just as yummy as ever.
However, this particular location isn't usually on top of things. I'd estimate that 8 out of 10 times my food is seriously cold or slightly warm at best.
But I'm usually so famished and exhausted from shopping that I just don't want to deal with going back through the drive-through window or walking inside to stand in line.
Many times, when I need to go back in, I'm treated as if I'm bothering them and they'll make me wait forever while they attend to one customer after another. Naturally, I fully expect them to continue with a current customer but being blatantly ignored while several are waited on isn't proper etiquette, imho.
Some employees will act as if they don't see me (and other customers), and do busy work hoping another employee will wait on customers. I've seen people walk out because they got tired of being ignored.
What really irritated me was one time I went back in to VERY politely say my sandwich had a condiment I asked NOT be put on and the manager actually argued w/me and snapped at me while purporting that I hadn't asked for it to be excluded. I told him that I understand how busy he is but that I had indeed not only asked for no mayo but that I had said it's important because I'm allergic to it.
He then rudely told me that I shouldn't order a sandwich that by default comes with mayo. I explained my allergy is only an issue when I actually ingest it and that simply smelling, handling or whatever are not issues and therefore I'm perfectly fine placing such an order.
I was utterly stunned by this man's behavior. When I went back inside I was very polite, I was smiling, and respectful. I never once gave him any justification for being so nasty to me. It was really no big deal. I even said, hey it's alright, mistakes happen - especially when your busy. Even then he said he hadn't made a mistake and that I was at fault. It was like the Twilight Zone! I'm still beside myself. I get that people have bad days - even horrible days bust gosh at some point it's time to just be a professional and let it go. I told him if I had indeed forgotten that I was highly allergic, could end up in anaphylactic shock, or covered in hives due to eating something with mayo I'd have no problem saying so and paying for a new sandwich. Good grief. Sorry to rant on about this but it was quite an unsettling experience.
I don't know if this manager is still at this location or not because that was the last straw for me. I haven't...
Read moreI am an Uber eats driver and have had nothing but problems with this store for years now.
For the fourth time in recent months, I just drove 10 miles here to pick up an order that I was supposed to make $40 off of only to be told that I am the third driver that has showed up and they don’t have the order.
When this happened a few weeks ago, I was waiting very patiently in the lobby for almost a half hour before they informed me they didn’t have the order because another driver stole it.
Sometimes they try to tell me the order never even came through on their system like one night this past summer when I showed up at 7:30 PM to pick up 25 hamburgers and they were locking the doors and trying to tell me they never got the order. Today the manager was telling me the last driver contacted Uber support to cancel it and the customer was refunded but I reached out to the customer and they definitely were not refunded and when I contacted Uber support they told me nobody had canceled this order.
And every time this crap happens I don’t get paid ascent by Uber for the time driving here and very patiently waiting.
I don’t really get fast food myself anymore, but I used to come here. The last time I tried to get a simple burger with nothing on it other than lettuce, onions, and tomatoes, they messed it up three tries in a row, and then had an attitude with me at the drive-through window when I had to walk up and butt in the long line of cars wrapped around the building after the third mess up because they had the doors locked.
By far this is the worst fast food establishment I’ve dealt with in the entire Portland area in. It has been ongoing...
Read moreWe decided to stop in to grab an early dinner. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the dining room was spotless. It looked like it had just been cleaned.
There was a note taped to the entrance doors and at the front register, instructing customers to order either by mobile or kiosk. I used the kiosk, but I didn't like it. It was super awkward to fumble through inputting my order, while at least 5 employees milled about on the other side of the counter.
When the food came, they had given us a bunch of extra food that we hadn't ordered, as well as larger drinks. We ended up throwing the extra stuff away. If we had wanted it, we would have ordered it.
We decided to have a picnic lunch outside. We watched the drive-through employee participate in what had to have been a drug deal. He was swearing and complaining loudly out the back door, then walked to a car with a woman, leaned in through the window, then the woman left in the car with the dealer.
After the hand-off, he went inside and came back out with another employee, suspiciously only for a few moments before they both went back inside. Another hand-off, I suppose.
He came back out a few minutes later, complaining loudly and swearing some more to another employee.
The food was actually better than I've had in some time from a Wendy's, but the atmosphere ruined the experience. My son wouldn't finish his food after seeing the way the employees were behaving outside the back door.
He didn't trust the food.
I...
