Ordered a "like it size" then promptly changed my.mind to a "love.it size" BEFORE the ice cream even was finished being stopped up. I asked if I wanted any mix ins, I added 'waffle pieces' .. was.given my dish paid for our purchase an left. While eating said desert, I noticed with every 'scoop' the dull ice cream would like be loose an almost fall out the the "love it" dish unlike my partner or kidso who's icream stayed in thier dishes. Wel to my surprise once I made another schoop THE WHOLE DAMN BOWL CAME.OUT..WAIT... IN A SMALLER 'LIKE IT SIZE?!!! i was livid! Why.would I want to pay MORE FOR A SMALLER PORTION? SECONDLY WHY STEAL FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS? 3RD IF YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH PRODUCT TO FILL THE CORRECT DISH WHY NOT ADD MORE INSTEAD OF GIVING A SMALLER SIZE TOSSING IT IN A LARGER DISH AN HOPING YOUR CUSTOMERS DONT NOTICE??. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I WANT A FULL REFUND FOR ALL 3 OF OUR TREATS! Read moreWe’ve been into this location many times. The employees are always welcoming and friendly. When we’re had to wait in line I find it to be well staffed and they do a good job moving through the line without making you feel rushed or unimportant. A little kindness goes a long way. And I’ve always felt you get what you give. I’m kind when I walk in and have never had anything but welcoming and kindness from this location.
A lot of people leave reviews about a specific location (that’s actually locally owned and operated), about policies and procedures based on the franchise- NOT this location specifically. I personally don’t find that to be fair. You can see the sizing laid out very clearly when you order. This is like going to the beach and complaining that there is sand on your feet. Have some awareness, respect and kindness and I promise your experience will be great. We love coming here and supporting a locally owned Cold Stone location and are very happy...
Read moreI hadn’t been in a Coldstone in 25 years because the ice cream tasted a bit chalky and something in it upsets my innards. However I do eat ice cream at least weekly so upon finding the Windsor store thought I’d give it another chance. Alas, same thing. Texture isn’t great and it upset my innards which doesn’t happen with true premium ice creams (I assume the upset is caused by fillers like guar gum or carrageenan found in cheap brands but I don’t really know). Anyway, service was great and one in our group loved the waffle cone taste but for the price the ice cream should be better and the cold stone thing is pretty much a gimmick. I was treating several people so visit was quite expensive in total yet oddly they wouldn’t accept a $50 bill which was pretty annoying.
