Disappointing Decline in Quality — Not Worth the Price Anymore
Our family has stayed at this Super 8 many times over the years, especially during the summer, and it used to be our go-to spot. One bright spot that remains is the front desk manager — truly amazing, always remembers us, and makes us feel like more than just a room number. That level of personal service is rare and appreciated.
Unfortunately, the rest of our recent experiences have not lived up to past visits. Housekeeping has become mediocre at best. The only housekeeper who speaks English spends more time gossiping about coworkers and complaining than actually cleaning. It creates an unprofessional and uncomfortable atmosphere.
Breakfast is honestly a joke now. Cereal, waffles, eggs, and bars just don’t cut it — especially when you’re paying over $100 a night. When you’re on vacation, you want something a little more exciting, even if it’s simple additions like donuts or more variety. It feels like cost-cutting has taken priority over guest experience.
What really pushed us to make a change, though, was overhearing the owners — who we understand are a family — speaking very disrespectfully about their staff. Whether they think guests can hear or not, it’s unprofessional and disappointing. It reflects poorly on the entire establishment.
We’ll be staying elsewhere from now on. At these prices, we expect more than just a familiar face at the front desk. Mediocre housekeeping, poor breakfast, and a toxic work environment are not...
Read moreNice enough place however the owner who lives on site and the GM are not so professional. Had a nice long stay spent over two grand but when it came time to check out and had an asthma attack help was nowhere to be found except for the maid service whom felt it was necessary to stand tapping her watch with an irritated expression instead of offering a hand. Gratitude is something this place does not understand nor does it express it. Like I stated before I spent over two grand didn't get any help out the door but rather got complained about and then was accused of doing things that I did not do behind my back without an opportunity to defend myself. So if that's the kind of treatment you're looking for then this is your place. I can offer this The rooms are clean but then again I cleaned my own for almost a month by my choice which I don't recommend you do. Due to being accused of doing things that you didn't do without the respect of a conversation or an opportunity to defend yourself. Jay You're welcome for bringing down the screen and bringing it to your attention that it was bent in about to fly off the building. You're welcome for the money. You're welcome for me taking care of and cleaning my own room. You're welcome for not being a pain in the ass, you're welcome for not doing drugs. Nothing says thank you for staying with us like a nice backstabbing. This place seems to thrive on soap opera like behavior. So if that's your cup of tea.... Then by all means...
Read moreMy children and I officially became homeless in August. Fortunately, this little motel was within walking distance from the kids school and both of my jobs. Online said it was $74 a night! Cha Ching right? I called and reserved a room and when I arrived I met Cheri! She was so sweet and helpful, I even got a discount so I could stay a few days longer. The room was “clean” but when you take a closer look… 🤮 I’d say the housekeeping staff are quite lazy. The tub in all 5 rooms that I stayed in was disgusting and I wouldn’t step foot or allow my children to step foot in those tubs. We took showers at my friends instead. The carpets are gross, I do not recommend walking barefoot you might get a bacterial infection. Every room smells like a room full of sweaty athletes. Housekeeping should be shampooing the carpets regularly. The walls have never been wiped down. A few of the rooms I stayed in weren’t even vacuumed. Seemingly the house keeping staff are doing the bare minimum. Makes me question if they actually wash the bedding or just remake the bed, vacuum “if it needed it”, take some trash and call it clean. I got to meet the light of the place Alina! She’s so incredible, it felt more like coming home rather than visiting. Which was so great for my kids and I will forever be grateful for her. She was always ready to help in anyway she could no matter what it was. I was always greeted with a smile and a joke. I will not be coming back. Good luck with...
