5/27/2019 UPDATE: So I stayed away from this McDonaldâs for the last several months, up until about a month ago..but I will say, for the past month Iâve been through the drive-thru about 10 times day and night, and itâs been on point every time. My food has been fresh, my orders have been correct, drive-thru hasnât been slow, and the new hires are extra friendly and have great personalities! Iâm not sure what sparked a change, but itâs working! âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
The only reason I didn't give this McDonalds ZERO stars is because it wouldn't let me..I don't do reviews so this is my first time writing a review on ANYTHING, that lets you know how extremely dissatisfied I must be to waste this time in writing this..EVERY SINGLE TIME I go through this drivethru something is wrong with my order! Either it's COLD, or the drivethru person argues with me about the price of a special, or I have to wait in line for 30 minutes and be asked to pull up only for my food to STILL BE COLD, or I just get a completely different order than what I paid for, or all of the above. If the owner is still Phil Byrd he needs to fire every single employee and start completely over, because it doesn't matter what time of the day or night I go through this drivethru the same thing ALWAYS seems to happen. I worked at this MCdonalds about 20 years ago and we ALWAYS had to stay two steps ahead! We knew the consequences if we didn't! Phil didn't mind coming in the store and doing what he needed to do to keep good business! I wish I had his personal number because I would LOVE to inform him about his crew! I can't even believe I'm seeing good reviews on here from as little as three weeks ago! I've had a problem every single time I've went through for the past 6 or 7 months! I'm usually not one to complain ESPECIALLY when I know how frustrating working there can be because I worked there for TWO YEARS! But enough is enough!    Read moreWe make two orders on the McDonaldâs app. Since we were in Winfield we go there to pick them up. We almost thought they were closed due to only one car parked on the workerâs side and not a soul could be seen. We pull up to the drive thru and told them we were there to pick up 2 app orders. We were told to drive around. At the first window we were told they could only give us 1 order. That they have a rule of 1 order per car. We asked why and weâre told itâs now McDonaldâs policy so they do not keep other customers waiting. We told the worker who was being rude and rolling her eyes at us and huffing every time we asked a question m, that we seem to be the only customers there and no one else was at drive thru. We asked to speak to the manager and some nasty looking boy came to the window that looked like he just got off a 10 hour work day at a car repair shop. He said he did not care if we were the only ones there. That he would not make any exceptions for any one. He canceled our second order but refused to refund us saying we were not charged. We showed where we were charged and then refused saying we didnât pay because we used our McDonaldâs points. We informed that we did order more and showed the charge again. We finally got the money back but lost the points we used and never got them back. We called corporate and they informed us that it was a franchise restaurant and they would have that owner get in contact with us. Three days later we get a call from Phil Byrd, the owner, saying it is policy for 1 order per car. No apologies or anything. He pretty much made us feel from the conversation that he owned all the other McDonaldâs in the area and our loss of business would not affect him.    Read moreI'm not going to be in this place again for a while.. I have been treated as a big nusiance to the server and it was a mistake after mistake. The kids thought it was the wrong food, because it was packed up in wrong containers.so it started there, I went to tell them to make a chicken sandwich,and a 2 cheeseburger combo. I have a chicken sandwich and don't realize it, so I guess I was wrong to ask for another.but I don't have the 2 cheeseburger yet. The lady who pack the food, started telling me that the chicken sandwich is there, just packed in a different box,we were not unpacking everything, but it was a mistake.instead of giving me the cheeseburgers,she walked back and forth by our table looking at my family and daughter that has cerebral palsey,and anxiety about people.. I'm still waiting on the other sandwich up front. The lady won't even acknowledge me, ignore me even face to face.. The rest of my bunch has eaten and ready to go, I finally got another guy , manager to get my 2 burger.handed them right to me.why don't she just be honest,or make sure that you have a understanding of what she thinks.people can't read others mind.
