I went today with my workers and we were greeted good at first the pizza slices were great. The older gentleman spoke to us in Spanish and was good to us at first. But when it was time to pay. One of my workers payed before the rest of us got done eating. And once the rest of us payed. He accused us of not paying. Basically stealing. We went over everything with him.and he was still acussing us of not paying in front of other people that were standing close to him, it was embarrassing. We explained that one of the guys payed before everyone else. And he was still doubting us. Told us we were free to go. But never apologized. He really thought we actually didnāt pay 5 slices š¤¦š½āāļø cameras are there for a reason we all payed and still got accused. And after we proved we had payed. he didnāt even offer an apology. He was still talking about us with the other people who were next to him. I guess still blaming us. Itās not my fault he forgets things. Next time just look at the cameras instead of blaming people because you forget that they already payed you.!!! Will never eat there again. Awful experience. Just because weāre Hispanic and we were dirty because we were working and it was our lunch time. doesnāt mean we would leave without paying. I always order the regular beef pepperoni pizza with light cheese and extra sauce. This time, I wanted the Sicilian with its thicker crust, I couldnāt resist.
After returning home, my family and I noticed the beef pepperoni might have been pork. Since the restaurant was closed, we had to wait until the next day to address it.
When I returned, I explained what happened, and the staff was incredibly apologetic and understanding.
Even without a manager on-site, the team went above and beyond to make it right. They quickly remade the pizza, apologized sincerely the entire time, and treated me with respect and patience.
When I asked about the pepperoni, the cook personally brought out both types to show me the difference. He didnāt have to do that, but he did it to reassure me.
I was having a stressful week, and they made me feel seen and valued. Thatās more than my money could buy.
This shows how much they care about their food and their customers, and this is why I keep coming back.
