They are usually real busy but they have booths inside to dine in , the atmosphere is very diverse. Bathrooms overall were clean but it is only one person per bathroom . You can pay with cash and debit card. You come in and find a place to sit . The food came out pretty quick and very delicious . The verde chilaquiles was delicious if you have never had them . A spicy green sauce is covered over tortilla chips with cheese and sour cream and then you have two eggs and beans with steak . They have several options for tacos as well and my husband really enjoyed they very flavorful. The chicken quesadilla was good as well . And I recommend the waters if you have never tried any there really fresh and delicious. Service was good from the moment we walked in the door . The prices have definitely went up since we first started coming here years ago . For a family a 4 we spent about 70$. Itās also located around several stores once you leave like a bakery , and meat store and ice cream place if that is something you would be interested in afterwards. Itās not in the best area , but we never had any issues with anybody outside the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreINTRO: You'll find the best deal in all of Winston-Salem at this restaurant. It's called the "Mega Burrito". You might be asking yourself "how is the burrito any different than the one at Chipotle?" Well, let me tell you. This burrito is literally the size of a baby. It feels like it weighs 2 lbs, and there will be enough food leftover to last 2 complete meals. Not only is GUACAMOLE already included in the burrito, the burrito is also generously submerged in QUESO. At Chipotle, the addition of both guacamole and queso would easily cost over $5.00. At El Rancho, they're both for FREE. Their meat selection for the mega burrito includes carne asada, al pastor, barbacoa, pollo, and more. With each purchase, you're also provided 2 different hot sauces with two stark heat indices. If you're looking to enter a food coma, look no further. El Rancho is where you want to be.
Of note, I have also tried their tacos but their mega burrito is far superior. The tortilla wraps that they use are fairly bland and resemble a rubber-like consistency. I've eaten the Mega Burrito over 7 times. You can trust my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe aguas and nachos are the only good things left here, everything else is bland, the birria has no flavor just straight fatty oil š and the cabeza tacos arenāt made with any seasoning, also the pork in the enchiladas has a strange taste, Iām sorry but if youāre looking for a good soup dish or real Mexican food, ESPECIALLY tacos Iād recommend La Tili thatās just a couple blocks away. No refill here, even for $2 if you bought the big cup, even Luna playa gives a refill and they are on Hanes Mall BLVD š¤. Itās extra if you want to salsa made with advocate even if you tell them you donāt want the red and green ones you just want one substitution š. Again, just my opinion, only thing good here anymore is the super nachos (like 10$ and weigh like 3 lbs!) super yummy and the howmmeade aguas aka Waters. Also, salsa is alright but chips are super stale if you get them as an appetizer, maybe because they do not sale enough? Idk but Iām sticking to the other places I mentioned, this was the last time for me and my family here. Service is slow, as is they donāt really have time to serve you...
