Downtown Winston has a lot of places you can stop in for a beer but Fiddlin Fish stands out. Not only do they craft their own wide variety of beers but the space is open, eclectic, clean and a great utilization of the old Nissan Wagon Works Factory. Locally owned and welcoming they do a great job creating a community space and offer so much more than beer. You can watch sports, listen to music, grab food from a food truck or host a party there. They also have community groups like a book club! Check them out on social media for info on their groups, and they have fun posts as a bonus. Love the service there too, Lindsey is one of our favorites ….She is personable, attentive and has a wicked sense of humor, the best! If beer isn’t your thing they have wine, seltzers, non alcoholic options and some gf options too....

Great bluegrass band playing, my friend was having her birthday party and lots of different groups just hanging. Bartenders really hustle and the beer is great. I had the session ipa and blonde. No food, but food trucks every night and you can order pizza delivered just like you were at home. You can also get takeout from a local place and bring it in. My friend brought snacks and a cake for her birthday and they were fine with us setting it up on a table and having the party there. If you...
Read moreWe love Fiddlin Fish, this review is for the TUNING FORK. The quality of food, the menu selection, and the level of care has steadily declined. Typically there is only one person manning the truck so they get quickly overwhelmed. The last disappointing meal we had included cold fries served beneath a chicken thigh sandwich (that was not a chicken thigh, it was a frozen, flattened chicken breast). When I pointed this out they blamed it on a different supplier (doesn’t make a chicken thigh turn in to a chicken breast patty). Take responsibility, up your game; you have a captive customer base at...
