Silver Moon Saloon — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

Favorite bar but leaving a 1 star review to warn people about the $85 dollar parking charge you will incur via mail for parking in their parking lot. It is now paid parking and will photograph your license plate going in and out and send you a bill in the mail. I'm sure there is a way to validate it but none of the employees will mention it to you. The parking charge comes from a private company called Professional Parking Management based out of Florida and they are not even legally allowed to operate their cameras in Florida anymore. The only place they currently have them nationwide is in Winston Salem with their offices being located in Florida. This itself is pretty shady. Oh and you can't dispute it over the phone, they will only get back to you via email. Haven't been back since getting the bill and don't plan to. Sorry you lost...

We stopped here end of the night after bar hopping for awhile for one last drink. They were playing good music. The girls behind the bar were super nice in figuring out what we wanted to drink. I won’t lie we weren’t a huge fans of the mixed cocktails, I felt bad for not liking my drink having worked in service myself but the male bartender noticed I wasn’t stoked and replaced it no questions with a shot of the liquor I had in my drink and apologized and joked around with us a little which always makes everything better. It is small when you go in which deterred us our first time but we now realize they have a back patio too. This is definitely more laid back type place later in the evening but they do have some local brews, and a good crowd...

Silver moon is in my opinion the best bar in the city. The best, friendliest, and most fun bartenders work here and always make sure everyone is having a good time. Probably the cheapest drinks and heaviest pours in town as well. The staff is always kind and helpful but hold their ground when the need arises. The patio area is great during the warmer months and can hold quite a few people. The inside is small and can get clogged on the busy weekends but during the week it’s typically slower and there’s almost always a seat.
