Trendy area with plenty of exotic shops and restaurants. Be very CAREFUL parking here!! The city does little to monitor parking schemes (scams?) run by companies like PPM where unsuspecting tourists and visitors end up paying disguised private-parking fees even in stalls labeled for patrons...

Most people think of Winston-Salem North Carolina only when they look at the names on colorful packs of cigarettes at the convenience store. The reality is that there is a lot more to this area then just tobacco. I encourage people to walk up and down this historic area and soak...
