I had my lashes done with Kate. That was the worst. First time when I came in, i said I have appointment with Kate. She was baffled for like 5 mins. And then she welcomed me. I said I want something visible. I got my appointment for classic but that was my very first time for lash extensions and I literally had no idea. She didn’t give me any useful information about classic and hybrid. She was okay with doing classic as if she just want to get it done quickly and get her money. Not Professional! (Also they charge you $20 for first time costumer, that worths a consultation right?!) When she was doing it, she tries to talk to me which I didn’t prefer that. She burned my eyes. Because she and all workers there using cheap Amazon glues! Glue didn’t hold the lashes some fell off in the first 2 days. After she have done with my lashes, I didn’t like it. I tried to be nice tho. The lashes was too short and too straight, not even a little bit curved. She was keep saying that I have hooded eyes and this the best choice for my eyes. (NO GIRL!) I said "Can we make it longer at least little bit?" She said ‘yes next appointment we can add hybrid’. Even though she got volumes for her lashes (her eyes are small too) but she was insisting on my eyes are hooded. She made me feel weird. When I was leaving the place my lashes at very end was sticking to my bottom lashes. I didn’t care because she said I need to wash my lashes every day. (NO DO NOT WASH YOUR LASHES EVERYDAY.) my lashes fell off so much after 2 weeks. I went to there second time. I told her I want longer! I got wedding! She was looking so unwilling to do my lashes longer. She put ‘some’ hybrid longer lashes along with classic. My eyes burned again. And she hurt my eyes really bad with tweezers 2 times. After it is done, it was looking same. It was looking a lil bit fuller. So straight. I had to lift it with my fingers before I go out! It fell off so much again! so many of my natural lashes being glued together in clumps, which pulls out the natural lash causing gaps and permanent damage over time! And for the third appointment, I checked on app that she booked me on classic lashes again! It got me thinking that she even didn’t listen to me! I cancelled it. She is very young like all the other girls working there. I advice that yall should spend more money on your training and customer service rather than spending money on attractive studio photographies. Lol. Y’all care about how many likes you can get! All these good reviews are based on customers who got discounts or free lashes. This is how advertising works right? No! Never again! It is the WORST! I found new lash tech and she was cheaper and effective. I went with my new lash tech’s lashes for 7 weeks. Also my new tech showed me what damages Kate did. Yall beware! I had never gotten lash extensions before, and didn’t know much about it. My friend set my first appointment with Canvas, who was the lash tech all my friends worked with. During my first appointment, Canvas took the time to teach me about what kind of care I would need to commit to for the lash set, and what things I may need to adjust to. She also asked me what I would like and what I was comfortable with. Throughout the session, she explained what she was doing, which was nice given it was my first time. Once she finished my set, I knew I would be a regular of hers. My lashes were gorgeous (I did hybrid and went for a cat eye look). Canvas took into account my natural hair texture and my eye shape when doing my lashes so that the lashes felt more natural to me.
