Pretty disappointing the last time I went here. A dancer snatched some money I put on the bar for a drink. You gotta watch them I guess. The management staff seem like they’re doing their best, but they’re too lax with the dancers, it seems like some of them have serious drug problems. It’s sad. A few of them look like they urgently need to go to rehab. I now understand why there are many, many 1 star reviews for this establishment, you just don’t get that many bad reviews for no good reason.
It seems like some of the dancers have a paradoxical, drug-induced, and warped perception of self-worth and feel entitled to engage in petty theft. Some of them outright don’t seem to have legitimate business “performing” in there due to absence of opportunities to make money from customers via legitimate means. I keep seeing this one creepy older dancer who seems to lack maturity (as if that makes up for it) because she acts obviously very sketchy (hunching over, eyes darting side to side, arms pulled in close to the chest like she’s a velociraptor), whispering in these young women’s ears, and she seems to be trying to coach them to do these things which ultimately just reflect poorly on the establishment and hurt business. I would have rather tipped the bar staff that money than have to be bothered with that juvenile nonsense from someone who should be setting a good example.
A hostess even admitted to me that there’s a crack and heroin problem going on here. The best I can say about it right now it is that at least it’s not as creepy as Filly’s. I may raise this review if they improve, I hope I don’t have to lower it again. There are some bright spots in the gloom and noise, but I left feeling sorry for the people in here just doing their best having to work alongside this instead of feeling carefree and having fun. 😒 Yuck. 🤦♂️ I know some people who enjoy dropping stacks for the heck of it, but I would be embarrassed to invite them here because they let this low-class petty crime rule the day, and my associates frankly do absolutely disdain for dealings with people with such behaviour, and I don’t like it either. These folks could stand to wise...
Read moreI've only been here twice, but my second experience was absolutely unacceptable!
On the evening in question, I got a private room dance with a dancer named Ivy. I did everything she asked me to do to help her feel more comfortable (even took my belt off, which I've never been asked to do at a Gentleman's Club before), and I did not give her any reason to be upset with me. About two minutes into the dance, she started being VERY hostile towards me, and DEMANDED that I give her my Ray-bans. I didn't do so at first, but then she said "I can get a manager in here, and he'll do much worse to you". Fearing that I would get beaten up, I handed her my glasses, and that was the last time I saw them.
After she left the room with my glasses, a manager and a bouncer appeared. While blocking the only way in or out of the room, they accused me of videotaping Ivy, and tried to get me to delete the video from my phone (which, for the record, was face-down and out of arm's reach during the dance). I couldn't delete a video that never existed, so they kept talking around in circles until I stopped answering their questions. Eventually, one of them made a call on his smartwatch (which was probably smarter than both of the two men combined), and they escorted me out of the club through a fire exit. Though I've asked the club to return my glasses to me, they have not responded to my request.
According to their Instagram bio, the motto of Savannah's Gentleman's club is "Every Guest the right way, every day." Well, on Thursday October 4th, they handled it the wrong way, and they have now lost me as a customer. I'll admit this wasn't the first bad experience I've had at a Gentleman's Club, but before that god-awful night, I had NEVER been...
Read more5 stars is not even almost enough stars for the experience I had! I've never been to a strip club before and decided at the last minute to come check out Savannah's Gentlemen's Club while I was visiting Winston-Salem from Georgia. I came in and the 2 ladies at the front desk were very sweet (didn't get their names). They helped me withdraw cash and were very welcoming. I walked in to the dance room and was pretty nervous since it was my first time being in such a place. I watched Kim dance and just had to tip her. When she was finished she came and gave a thank you hug. I asked her some questions regarding how exactly everything worked and she was so open to answering all my questions in detail. She then offered to take me to the VIP room and at this rate my heart was pounding like crazy out of nervousness and excitement. Keep in mind, I've never had a gf before, therefore I've never been up close to a drop dead gorgeous topless woman before! Her lap dance was beyond my expectations! She was not only a great dancer, but also a really sweet woman! She made all my nervousness go away! I live 6 hours away in Georgia and I will DEFINITELY come back to this club in the near future JUST to see Kim and have another lap dance with her! If I could give her more stars than atoms in the visible universe, I WOULD!...
