The food was ok. It didn't have as much seasoning as before. The shrimp was a bit mushy. But my biggest concern is that my wife slipped and fell on the floor in the bathroom that has some kind of oil or wax that wasn't buffed out or whatever they were supposed do to it. We did tell one of the young ladies that works there and she said that its been like that for a couple of weeks, even she was sliding with slip resistant shoes on. Might have to end up taking her to the hospital because of her neck now. Video available of how slippery floor was.................... September 19th We visited this establishment again, food was good seasoned better than the last visit, however the waitress that took our order ended up charging our card twice( not sure if it was her fault or not) the credit card machine up front seemed to not be working after she tried several times. She used another one they have in the back and it worked. We thought nothing about it, until looking in the account at the charges( which at the time they both were still pending) my wife called and asked to speak with the manager, which they told her was busy because they were very busy and she would have to call her back later. No call, so my wife called back the next day and she said she doubted that it was a double charge and we needed to take it up with our bank( very nasty nonchalant attitude). Both charges for $104 dollars hit the account today. She called back this morning and once again the manager had this nasty attitude and told her she would have to call the other store and speak with the general manager. At no point in time did she try to make it correct or anything and handed the phone back to the waitress. As an establishment if you make a mistake at least try to make it right with a little better customer service. Once we get this corrected we will definitely not...
Read moreFirst off let me start by saying this review is two weeks over due. I meant to write this the day of but as you will later find out, time just got away. Valentines day I asked my gf what she wanted and she said seafood. I immediately knew where to go since we have been to this location before (and IMO its better than Red Crab). We arrived at about 6 or so without reservations and were seated almost immediately. Being a special occasion, I decided beforehand I want us to have some "drinks" before we started on the main course. Our waitress Syn (or Cyn [guessing its short for Cynthia]) came and greeted us and asked what we would like. I ordered a margarita for my lady and whiskey for myself. She came back shortly after with the drinks and asked if we would like an appetizer while we drink and I ordered a basket of fried shrimp. Another waitress named Cali brought us our shrimp bc Cyn was also working at the bar, which I didn't mind, who wouldn't want more service. I asked Cali if she was from California (which she wasn't) but it lead to a nice conversation about traveling. After Cali left our table and our shrimp was all consumed (and it was delicious) Cyn came back and asked what we would like for our entrée. We ordered and asked Cyn if she had been to Cali, and surprisingly enough, she was originally from Cali, which again prompted a conversation about travelling and my affinity to Los Angeles and how I would like to go back. Ultimately the food was awesome, I got the pound of shrimp and pound of crablegs and 2 shots of whiskey and had a wonderful night. My date also enjoyed her food and the two wonderful servers Cyn (sorry if im misspelling it) and Cali. I would def recommend going there, It is my official go to for seafood and hopefully I can have Cali and Cyn as my...
Read moreArrived early with a party of six. Before 5 pm. Only a couple other groups were already there and seated (two couples and a group of 4 people I think) . We waited about five minutes before someone greeted us (we only saw one or two wait staff the entire time, even after the place became full). We ordered drinks (there were no lemons!), a couple of appetizers first, and then the main course. The appetizer never came. After about 20-30 minutes those of us who had ordered fried foods were served. The rest of us waited close to an hour, maybe longer, and the boils still hadn't arrived. We were never brought refills on drinks until we finally got our server's attention and asked (it wasn't her fault, she was covering half or maybe all the tables, and the place was full before our food ever arrived). We were so fed up we told our server to bring us the check for the plates and drinks we had received---and to cancel everything else. She said okay, she understood, and was apologetic. She disappeared into the kitchen and finally came out with the rest of our food. She said she was sorry but crab legs could not be canceled once ordered (the manager never dared show his/her face). The boils should have been steaming hot but they were not. The crab legs, shrimp and crayfish tasted okay but not what you'd expect for the hefty price. The "boiled" potatoes were basically uncooked. We had to ask for a fork for the fried foods and were brought one fork (four people had ordered fried foods). There was nothing brought to help with the crab legs, no crab cracker, no crab forks, no gloves, no bibs, no bucket. Overall it was a horrible experience which I would have rated a "Zero" except the food wasn't terrible and our server kept a good attitude and did apologize...
