I went in expecting good things based on the reviews but was very disappointed. The first red flag was a sign that basically says unless you pay in cash, you get charged an extra 3.99% to cover "rising banking costs". That was an immediate turn off but since we'd eaten nothing since the previous evening due to a medical procedure that morning, we decided to just pay cash. . Be aware that you need to check your to go food before leaving or you're out of luck (there is a sign). Good thing we checked because everything in our order was wrong or missing something. We asked about subbing a Greek side salad instead of a regular side salad (upcharge of $1.35 as stated on the menu) and was told by I think the owner (after some confusion on the hostess' part) that they could do that with an upcharge. Which was fine. After that I was asked by the hostess if I wanted a small Greek salad and I told her no, the side Greek like what was just discussed. The food came out and there was a third entree on the bill, for a small Greek salad. When I questioned it, the cashier brought it back and we (along with the folks on line behind us) heard the conversation between the hostess and the owner (the woman I talked to earlier) about how I was told that they didn't do a side Greek salad and that there would be an upcharge. I expected another $2-$3 added, not almost $9! Since there was a line behind us, I just sucked it up and said I'd take the salad. We started to leave and checked our food out. The chicken souvlaki pita had a very small amount of chicken pieces on top of tzaziki with a couple of cubes of tomato. The Greek salad had some orange dressing not the Greek that I ordered and my sister's breakfast plate did not come with the side of bacon she ordered. A very nice gal got the bacon, changed out the dressing and added lettuce and tomato to my pita. We left and sat in the car to eat in the parking lot. Everything was bland and flavorless, including the salad dressing. The fries were soggy and barely cooked. A few were raw in spots. The only thing with any flavor was the bacon and ham on my sister's plate. The home fries had no seasoning and had burnt pieces. The bill was $33 for a really disappointing meal and experience. I know that they were short staffed and I hate writing bad reviews but I would never give this place a...

My family has occasionally ate at Omega House for the past 20+ years. The original owners have sold the restaurant off to new owners. If you prefer how the old restaurant was ran please do yourself the favor and don't waste your time.

Yesterday's experience was a deal breaker for us ever returning. First, we noticed that they had remodeled. No big deal, where as most know, it was overdue. Then we noticed all the half way remodeled stuff. We decided to still give it a try. That was our mistake.

Waitress was extremely rude coming to the table. We placed our order then continued to wait for 30-40 minutes until it arrived at our table. Compared to the "old Omega House" not acceptable. No matter in the past 20+ years my family has never waited more than 10-15 minutes for our food.

So the food finally arrived, I personally ordered the Souvlaki ,my husband and mother as well. Mine was ordered with no tomatoes. It arrives late COVERED in tomatoes. Told the waitress it was wrong she said how about you pick them off of this other one where there's not as many?!?!

By this time I wasn't prepared to wait 30-40 minutes for fresh food to be made. I went to bite into my soulvaki and its plain besides the ton of tomatoes that I had removed and the ocean of sauce.. It tasted horrible like they had put a "new spin" on the recipe.

I understand taking over a business that you normally haven't operated is or can be challenging but these new owners need to fix the extreme wait time, make sure their wait staff is friendly, and biggest thing is do not stray from the quality or recipe the of food. This is how the old owners were able to keep the business operating for 20+ years.

I, personally...

Had never been here before but my buddy wanted to grab lunch and he suggested we go. Located on a main road it does not look very appealing from the outside. Nothing fancy, tight parking spots but sufficient. It looks small but once you head inside it is actually a decent size with plenty of tables and booths. We decided to sit at the counter which faces the kitchen. The menu reads like a diner. They have breakfast all day and great lunch and dinner dishes available. I went with a chorizo n and peppers omelette with a side of sausage gravy & bacon as an add on. 1st off, the waitresses are very friendly and we’re on top of everything. Order was taken quickly and it was prepared just as fast and yet fresh. The omelette was loaded with chopped chorizo and peppers. The sausage gravy had bits of sausage and was a perfect topping for my eggs. The bacon was crispy but not overly done. Everything was perfect. I also watched as other orders were prepared and placed on the kitchen counter for the waitress’s to pick up. They all look very hearty and worth a try. Prices are reasonable so I will definitely come back to try other dishes. I am happy my buddy put me on to this place. BTW….. I was so excited to dig in that I never got a picture of...

We were taking a road trip to the mountains and wanted to enjoy a sit down breakfast. I Googled breakfast near me and ended up here. The wait Staff was so welcoming when we arrived. When we were seated, I was excited to see they offered FISH and GRITS for breakfast. Those were the TWO BIGGEST pieces of Flounder!!!! Oh and it was absolutely AMAZING. Sean had the Country Fried Steak cooked to his Medium preference. My one regret is that I didn't get the HOMEFRIES. The owner Kim was so sweet and I let her know, she definitely has a new customer. Glad we visited.

It was my first time visiting here today with my boyfriend and we LOVED it. The food was amazing I ordered the Texas omelette and added mushrooms with some toast and grits, he tried the chicken and dumplings with fries squash and fried okra. It was all cooked perfectly and tasted great. The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere. I don’t recall the name Of our waitress unfortunately but she was very sweet and we definitely will be returning. Side note the coffee was great and kept full!
