We go for the dog park, and have specifically used the large dog area. It's one of the nicer dog parks I've been to, with several picnic tables somewhat centrally located and shaded by multiple trees, large grassy areas, a large sandy area, and running water with a fountain in the picnic table area. There is generally a stainless steel bowl left near the water, or you can bring your own. There are poop bags provided just outside the enclosed areas, and owners seem to do a decent job picking up the poop (I still watch where I walk and it's not perfect, but it's better than most I've seen). We've gone on different days of the week and have encountered predominantly conscientious dog owners that watch their dog(s) and intervene as needed.

Though we haven't been in the small dog area, it looks like it has plenty of room and also has a shaded area with picnic tables. We've never seen many visitors...

When you arrive you drive down this skinny gravel road by the power lines. Just keep goes and you'll get there. You should see the baseball park, the play ground is in that direction.

My kids really like this park. The dinosaurs add a little extra excitement. There's a lot of climbing options and so if your kids love the climbing it's a good option. Although you should be worn it can be quite scary for the younger ones who aren't as experienced.

I like how the swings are far enough away from the playground where you don't have to worry too much about the kids getting kicked. Also there's plenty of swings. There's a great place to park on the street if you don't want to walk too far. if it's not crowded you can get close. Otherwise you park in the lot which is about a 3 minute walk with...

Hello everyone. Today, July 12 in Washington Park, in the large dog park, a pit bull dog attacked a shitzu named Toby, unfortunately Toby lost his life, I usually take my dogs there, in fact Toby had lived with several times my dogs was so friendly and sweet, a calm and playful dog. It hurt me so much to see his owner, devastated by the departure of his best friend. You have to raise awareness, and not take aggressive dogs to parks, if you know that your dog is capable of killing another please stay at home and do not take it, there is a quiet and safe place for our dogs one takes them so that play and live with everyone…. I'm so sorry for what happened today, no loved one deserves to die like that... I'm so sorry Toby, rest 🙏🏻 and to his owners, God give...

This was a really cool place to bring the children! When they saw there were dinosaurs on the play structure they just started screaming with joy! Immediately they ran off to play on it. The area was very quaint and peaceful. There are trees around you providing just the right amount of shade but also letting in the sun enough to not make it creepy. My children played for a long time and didn't want to leave. If we are in the area again, we will need to bring a picnic to eat at one of the pavilions or picnic tables in the park. It was clean and well taken care of. Overall just a great experience. P.S.-There's also great photo opportunities that you can take with the dinosaurs!
