I transferred here from MA from another Starbucks and began working at this one. At the time Amanda was the manager. We were always short staffed but I can honestly say the drinks were always made perfect for the most part. Once she got fired and I began my nursing career, this place has left me speechless. I work in Harrisburg so I rarely come to this Starbucks but I live 5 minutes from this one so occasionally I'll go and the last and only 3 times I've gone my drink has been made wrong. The last time he thought it said a different abbreviation and blamed it on the hand writing but it was completely legible because even I remembered what CPL and CBL stand for and then I said this says 8 pumps and he takes my drink and adds it on top of the whipped cream and tells my to mix it. It was disgusting. I feel like the biggest mistake is them having their entire staff be brand new. There's never anyone who knows what they're doing and no one in charge. Making coffee should be an art to whoever works at Starbucks and the customers should ALWAYS be your main priority and it's not like that at all unfortunately. It's sad. As much crap as everyone talked about Amanda, they shouldn't have fired her and they should have realized that her being "strict" and honest made the baristas the best. I would strongly suggest not spending your money here. They need to get their...
Read moreI have had better service through the drive thru than at the counter. Sadly, today i had to wait behind a guy who was buying gift cards. All i wanted was a tea! The barista bid me to let him finish ringing this guy out...it took 10 minutes! For gift cards! ...i felt like the guy barista was rude only because normally a person would say "Hey, i know that took awhile thank you for waiting" but he didn't say a word... then, once i ordered...instead of making my drink immediately since I'd waited patiently and quietly while he finished up his transactions(the place was dead) after he took my order he made a drink for the woman working the drive thru...then he made my tea. If i go back to this location i won't be going inside. That guys' attitude turned me off. I wasn't rude to him or anything like that...It was just weird. Like he had a problem that had nothing to do with me. There are much friendlier baristas that work there...but, this guy turned me off to the...
Read moreThis review is not necessarily for the Starbucks itself, but for the distributor who was delivering the shipment to the Starbucks last night on 10/14. The new whataburger had opened up next door, and due to the high volume, had people exiting out through the Starbucks parking lot. This would not have been an issue except that the distributor chose to park in such a way that he blocked the Starbucks exit. This meant that to get out of the whataburger, people had to exit through an enter only lane. I stopped to politely let them know that this may end up causing some issues, and when I did, the man I spoke to started absolutely cussing me out full stop. Like full blown sentences of cuss words absolutely railing me about how it wasn't his problem. There were a few different people making the delivery, but the one in question that cussed me out was a taller African American man. Pics added of truck...
