Super nice staff, interesting hours, and we're thankful that they offer low-carb options.
As we travel the country, we make a point to patronize keto and low-carb bakeries. A common menu item: cinnamon rolls.
The flavor of the cinnamon rolls at this shop is delicious - if too sweet. (When you've been no-sugar for years, like we have, your sweet meter changes; personally, I cut out about 1/3 of the sweetener in baked goods I make.) It was also disappointing that erythritol is the main sweetener used. (Please, Google recent health studies on erythritol; hopefully more studies will be conducted soon.)
The cinnamon rolls looked off to me, so I actually asked the staff if they were raw. I was told they were made with almond flour. Cool, cool ... but that's why they're so dense and heavy. I couldn't tell you what other comparable bakeries are using, but I'm guessing lupin flour which is a finer grain but a little bitter (so it cuts the sweetness of erythritol). There are a few other low-carb flour mixes on the market, too (King Arthur offers one), that make for less-dense baked goods. I'm guessing there is cinnamon in the dough and that's why they look so dark.
Anyway, long story short, this just isn't the keto bakery for us. I absolutely wish the vendors all the best, though. Low-carb baking is hard work and it requires a lot of trial and error. So, there is definitely that. I genuinely hope this review is taken as helpful and not hurtful because the world needs more sugar-free options, that is for sure.
P.S. We also bought carrot cake cupcakes but haven't tried them yet. Big question mark on the carrots since they naturally have a lot of sugar in them, but I asked about that and was told a minimal amount of carrots are in the recipe. So, if you're super sensitive you might have your blood glucose monitor handy to check and see how your body does with them. That's what we'll be doing. Hopefully they're just fine, because they look and...

My children and I have been coming to To Your Health Bakery for years, and we love it! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
My children are both gluten-free, and To Your Health Bakery has a wide variety of gluten-free options to choose from. They have everything from breads and pastries to cookies and cakes. And it's all delicious!
My kids' favorite gluten-free items at To Your Health Bakery are the chocolate chip and oatmeal cream cookie sandwiches and the blueberry mini pies. They say that the cookies are the best they've ever had, and they love the fresh organic blueberries.
I also love the gluten-free bagels and pretzels at To Your Health Bakery. Both are soft and fluffy, and they don't have that dry, gritty texture that some gluten-free breads have. I make gluten-free sandwiches with the bagels, and my kids love them.
In addition to the gluten-free options, To Your Health Bakery also has a variety of specialty gluten-free baked goods, such as tres leches cake, tiramisu, cannolis, macarons and eclairs. We also look forward to the specialty theme days that allow us to enjoy gluten free foods from different cultures, such as the Mexican and Greek themed days. We've tried a few of these items, and they're all delicious as well.
Overall, To Your Health Bakery is a wonderful bakery with something to offer everyone. My children and I love it, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and gluten-free bakery.
P.S. The staff at To Your Health Bakery is always so friendly and helpful. They're always happy to answer my questions about the gluten-free options and thankfully, they care about and listen to our dietary...
Read moreI came here on 11/6/20 with a co worker/friend around 1:45pm. I started keto about 3 weeks ago and my friends started about 1.5 weeks ago. After a google search for keto bakeries, this place came up! They have gluten free options and paleo options as well. On that day, the keto options were a orange-sicle cake, brownies, chocolate cake, and some type of pumpkin cheesecake. I feel like there was another option, but I can't remember. I got to taste both cakes. The chocolate was okay but I like the orange-sicle more and got it. I took a few bites before remembering to take a picture lol. I just tried it today. It is really good!! I ate the brownies yesterday and completely forgot about pictures. The brownies were okay. I have to get used to knowing that desserts are gonna taste a little different. I was told that the keto options change regularly and to follow their Instagram page to know what they will be having. I did do that and turned on post notifications. These dessert, like many other keto items, was a little expensive. The cake was $12 a slice and the brownies were $8 I believe. The brownies had 5-6 carbs for 2 and the cake slice had 8-10 carbs. I can't wait to see what other options that they have. I'm craving a donut or a cupcake! I must add that everything in the store looked so good!! I wish everything was keto friendly! The workers there was very friendly. I can't remember her name, but I'll definitely catch it...
