I was highly disappointed in the staff and how it was handled and how I was treated being a called in order for pickup to avoid holiday traffic people and also the pandemic but in turn it took 3 hours to get small little items that I could have obviously walked right in the store bought the line and got in and out quicker than it did calling it in 3 hours later for a five little item list so when I called to complain about the service because I was pushed off and told they were pulling it off the shelf hours and hours of something so simple that was then handed to me after an hour and a half wait for the latter part of the day the second time that I finally got my stuff only to realize when I got home when my wife was getting out of the bag that it was still wrong items ornaments that she had ordered so when I placed the call to customer service they forwarded it to management management called within 30 minutes which I was grateful for but management was not as I explained to the lady the stuff was for my wife's class of which she peaches of which right now during the pandemic is a very stressful time much less trying to give a kid to Christmas present because they are in school so without the right ornaments they were unable to complete a Christmas gift for their parents I tried to explain this to the management and management just sort of said sorry and that was it Michael's is a good store and not to down the staff I know they were busy cuz something so simple meant something so much to the children too that it's also facing this pandemic it all...
   Read moreDO NOT take a class here. This was my first experience with a Michael's class and it will definitely be my last. I signed my mother and I up for a wreath making class today. When signing up last week, I asked the sales clerk if we needed to bring anything to the class. The sales clerk said "I don't know. I think it's all provided." So, we showed up to class ready to learn and were immediately told to turn around and purchase a wreath base for the class. This would have been fine had we known ahead of time. However, the line was so long checking out with our wreaths that we were late getting back to the class. Luckily, there was no instruction so we didn't miss anything. The instructor just cut up flowers and people took them from the middle of the table and stuck them in their wreaths. I was done in 3 minutes. While we were working on our crafts, more and more people kept coming in to join the class (also not told about prepurchasing any supplies) and there were about 6 more people than there were chairs. Some small kids came to the class with their parents and they didn't understand the craft and the instructor was of no help. (She was preoccupied reading the printed instructions because she was obviously unfamiliar with the craft.) My mom and I ended up leaving the class to give our seats to them.    Read moreI left this store feeling extremely disappointed and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were in awful condition â no soap, just a bottle of hand sanitizer and another bottle with water, no paper towels, and toilet paper all over the floor.
But what made the experience far worse was how my family and I were treated while shopping. We were followed around the store as if we were stealing, which was insulting and uncomfortable. Itâs one thing to provide good customer service and be available if someone needs help, but itâs another to shadow paying customers and make them feel like criminals. That kind of treatment makes it impossible to enjoy shopping and certainly doesnât make me want to return.
To top it off, the store didnât even have half the items we came for. Between the poor condition of the facilities, the lack of stock, and being treated with suspicion the entire time, this was one of the worst shopping experiences Iâve had in...
