The entire drive thru menu board was dark. Some peices missing and light bulbs showing but you could not read the menu. We knew what we wanted. But we were greeted with "can I have your order" there were 4 cars ahead of us and we sat in line for 15 minutes. Alot of cars drove off after us. I assume the rudeness of whoever took our order. Our receipt says jessica. The food was not made with love. It was made with hate. And this is not the first time Ive encountered issues at this restaurant. The last time I visited I ordered 6 spicy chicken, was rang up full price not 2 for 5. Couldnt get a response at the speaker after it was rang up wrong...and when I came inside from the drive thru the manager appeared from the office looking like his nap was interrupted and I only received 5 sandwiches not 6. Ive had multiple issues at this restaurant and have never complained. It is obvious that noone at this location cares. I know wendys. It has the potiential to be good food. But when you order a grilled chicken salad you get a dry charred peice of what used to be chicken chopped in half and thrown on some lettuce without the sides that are supposed to come with the salad. (Pecans) my husband who loves the carolina classic was happy to see it was back. He got a teaspoon of slaw and a teaspoon of chili on his burger. He was very dissatisfied. I really dont feel like wasting any more money at this location. I have put up with alot from this location but something needs to be done. Theres little to no training and no care. The store is dirty. The drive thru is dirty. Lights flicker or are out. The employees are more interested in gossip or being on their phone than waiting on guests. The food is cold, old, dry, tasteless and sometimes correct. I hope something will be done. I really can't see myself coming back. It doesnt get any better. This was the jonestown road location Ive had better experiences at wendys...
Read moreI visited this establishment today and attempted to use my Wendy's app. I asked the employee to scan the barcode on my phone for a coupon, but for some reason, he didn't do it correctly, and I couldn't go back to scanning because it indicated that he had already used the coupon. He looked confused and didn't know how to proceed, so after waiting for a while, I decided to pay for the meal in full. After that experience, I was instructed to drive up near the door, where we ended up waiting for at least 6 to 7 minutes without being informed that there would be a wait for any items. When we finally received our food, I noticed they had stuffed a lot of ranch into our bags, which I hadn't requested; I only eat one type of sauce from Wendy's, so I sent one of my children inside to get the correct sauce. The same drive-thru employee made a comment to my child, saying 'sauce is sauce.' I wasn't aware of this until we were about to leave. I then tried to call the store, but no one answered. Additionally, I had to send one of my kids back in because they forgot one of the fries from our order. With the long wait times and the inability to properly scan a coupon that you encourage customers to use through your app, it just doesn't make sense to me how customer service can be so poor. I hope someone will reach out so I can discuss my experience further; if not, please ensure your associates receive better training in customer...
Read moreThe only reason I gave 1 star is because 0 stars wasn’t available. My daughter went to the drive thru to get my mom a chili. It was the absolute worst chili we have EVER seen. The chili was watery, had 1 bean, a couple of tomatoes. We called and asked for a manager and when she got on the phone and my mom asked for her name she said “it’s Chasity, what do you need that for”? My mom said to her “because she was calling corporate to report this”. My mother continued to tell her about the chili and she said “well I don’t make the chili”. My mother told her she was responsible for the quality of food when it goes out to the customer. She said “well if my store manager wants it watery, then I make it watery and I don’t have anything to do with that and if you want to call corporate about the chili then do it”. My mother asked her for her name again and she said “you don’t need to know my name”. My mom that she is an employee and a manager and that we every right to have her name. She said “I don’t have to give you my name”. My mom told her the conversation was being recorded and she said “ok that’s fine” and hung up. This is unacceptable to treat a long time customer like this. We have called corporate and we are going to submit the recorded phone call so they can see what is going on at that store. I will never go back to this Wendy’s. This Wendy’s has been going downhill for about 2 years. Apparently they don’t care...
