Most UNPROFESSIONAL studio I have ever been to. I came in for a tour and to get information about possibly sending my girls there. As I walked in there were several women chatting about other moms and children on the competitive team (not very nice things might I add).No one acknowledged me. Not welcoming at all. Then, the front desk woman with white curly hair seems as if she hates her job and did not want to be there. Every question I asked, I was given a rushed answer as if she was just trying to get me out of there. As she spoke to me very rudely, I can feel every eyeball on me which made me very uncomfortable. I even asked her why she was using such a tone with me. I then asked to speak to the director Krystie whom I saw standing around the corner the entire time. She made eye contact with me then quickly disappeared although she heard how I was be spoken to. She did nothing. I was appalled and wanted everyone to know how I was handled there. DO NOT bring your children there!! If this is how they handle potential new customers, I can't imagine what goes on in studio. Don't waste...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEXTREMELY disturbed! I attended the recital last weekend (June 2022) with a friend to see her daughter perform. It was disappointing and a little uncomfortable to see a stage full of little white girls dancing to a song about LYNCHING black people with a smile on their faces. It was the dance number where they wore very short gold sequin costumes while Strange Fruit by Billie Holiday was played. The owners and dance instructors should first research the material before putting it on display for an audience. Also, there was another dance number where the little girls were basically in white panties and a bra. I understand there are lots of movements during the dance numbers and the dancers need to be comfortable and move about, but as a parent, I donāt feel itās necessary for our little ones to be half naked, dancing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter has been dancing at FootWorks Dance Center For over three years. We came to the studio brokenhearted from a former studio that she danced at. When we came here she my daughter wanted to give up dancing however Footworks opened their arms and welcomed us. The students and the teachers help to foster my daughters love for dance again. Ms. Krystie connected with my daughter in her interest in wanting to become part of the dance team. One of the great things about the studios is thereās two tracks those who have a love of dance in those who are interested in advancing thereās dance skills. Iām so happy that thereās no pressure at the studio. I would highly recommend anyone who is either interested in recreational dancing or competition to look...
