Alchemy Pizza — Restaurant in Winter Park

Stopped in for lunch on our way home from the YMCA-Snow Mountain Ranch, and everything about this place was excellent! We came in with a BIG group of 3 families with quite a few little kids, and we were greeted, seated, and fully taken care of! We didn't order anything exotic...just some cheese sticks, and a few large cheese and pepperoni pizzas, and we drank waters. BUT... everything about our experience was AWESOME! The cheesy bread was fresh, perfectly cooked, and the marinara dipping sauce perfect, as well. Once the pizzas came out, they were also very well cooked, totally hit the spot for our big group! Right before we left, one staff member offered us a 4th of July special with complimentary small scoops of ice cream for the kids, which was the perfect way to end our experience! The place also has big screen TVs and was showing extreme sports on TV which was surprisingly an entertaining way for my youngest daughter to pass the time while we waiting for our food. Alright you know me I’m honest about my food so here’s my review of Alchemy pizza 🍕 in Frazier Colorado! The .5 mile I had to walk just to get to the place was kind of a let down as parking is minimal. The place is a decent vibe though nice tapestry and good wall art and the guy working the counter was freaking awesome! Now let’s get to the price of the pizza $22 for a 12 inch two topping pizza holy shit they are taxing not a big deal though right as long as the pizza is loaded and has good amount of topping especially for $3 a topping. That’s where the let down hits you literally get one little mushroom piece and one pepperoni on each piece like really $3 a topping and that’s what you give hmmm 🤔 won’t be back solely due to the price and how awful they top a pizza! Now to the actuall taste of the pizza it has a real good flavor overall about a 6.5-7 but with the walk and how expensive for how terrible of a put together pizza I’m gonna aim towards an overall 4 or 5/10 for this spot definitely try any other pizza joint if up here anything has to be better. Holy chit! This place is really hitting its stride! I came in today needing some serious life changing comfort, so I ordered what I'd hoped to turn my day around, good ol fashioned chicken parm sangwich. When Dustin brought out that bad boy... they say you eat with your eyes first. Well, I teared up. No shame. Teared up. I then knew what had to be done. First bite, I forgot my anxiety riddled morning before I swallowed it down my gullet! I know who prepared it, our local legend Hanson. You did me proper brother! While I continued scarfing down the first half, Hippie was entertaining the full bar, and not one barstool was open. Good on you, Hippie. And Lexi was mixing up drinks for everyone, ready to shake up anything the crowd wanted. Man, this place is gonna pop off this summer!.
