I have been coming here for a while now and most of the time I have no issue. In fact, there are a few servers there that I absolutely love to see when I come in(Andrea is amazing). However, today I came in with my girlfriend and wished to sit in the bar seating. The host warned us that the bar was very busy and to be prepared for slow service. We said that this was no issue for us and decided to sit there anyway as we were in no rush and willing to wait a while. However, after waiting finally the manager came over to get our drink orders (again we had no problem waiting) our server Breana finally came over about ten minutes later to take our order which we had all ready for her so we wouldn’t waste time as we understand being weeded. My girlfriend asked if one of the soups had onions in it and the server blatantly said she didn’t know- without even offering to find out for us or offering any other option, which was a turn off. Despite this we continued to be patient while the food runners and manager brought out our food. While eating the restaurant died down drastically to where there was only one other party in the lounge and the bar top practically empty. We finished our meal with completely empty drinks as Breana never came back to check on us or offer us refills. Finally at the end of our meal while we were waiting to order dessert we noticed our server Breana, who still had yet to check on us since taking our order, actively ignoring us staring at her trying to get her attention and decided to wash bar glasses instead. Finally my girlfriend went to the bar to ask for drink refills and to order dessert and Breana couldn’t even give her the respect to look up or stop what she was doing as my girlfriend was speaking to her. Instead of making her way back to the table she complained to the manager that our table needed something and sent Rocio over instead. This was our final straw, we understand slow service while the restaurant was busy but her not even checking on us while the lounge/ bar top was dead is unacceptable and her attitude when we tried to ask for refills and attentive service was even worse
Finally at the end when the manager came to bring us the bill, I asked Rocio how I can write a review and she rudely asked “well what was the issue” and so when I retold her our problems her attitude became very hostile. She stated how we knew there would be slow service, but as I told her slow service and NO SERVICE are two very different things. Rocio became very rude and honestly didn’t act like a manager at all. I’ve worked in restaurants for awhile and for a manager to not even offer apologies or try to make sure a guest leaves happy is ridiculous and...
Read moreWhat can I say? It's a Chili's. One thing about Chili's is consistency between restaurants. This one is really no exception.
The servers try hard and usually don't forget you unless they're really tired or having to cover for somebody else on a shift and just too busy.
Menu is always going to be with Chili's corporate says you should be offered and portions here are good. Also everything seems pretty fresh, although there's an awful lot deep fried on the menu so it's hard to really say what went in fresh when something's been deep fried, but it's not too bad really.
Portions are generous on all those little extras when you order the fajitas, which are a Chili's staple. The Chili's baby back ribs are excellent here and those portions are never very big at any Chili's although this one is okay.
A lot of the traffic is to the bar, especially as the night progresses, but that's okay because there are still one or two servers on duty who will make sure that you're taken care of if you come here toward the end of the evening. The bar is going to always have some kind of two for one special going or something like that offering the very basic wines from their list and the very common, mostly American beers they serve, or the common European beers in bottles.
This Chili's is clean and it does not have the problem of skating around on the grease from the kitchen back by where you enter the restrooms. Yes that's a real thing at some Chili's and it does require some detergent and a mop every night and not every Chili's is real good about doing this, but this Chili's is pretty good about it and even at the end of the night you're not going to lose your footing. Yes, I'm serious about that. That's a thing for Chili's. This one's a good one.
If I was in town and picking a Chili's to go to it would probably be this one because it is pretty close to me but it would also be this one because they do a pretty good job all around and I think it's pretty dependable. I have covered the areas where Chili's can be hit and miss and this Chili's comes up pretty good in all of them.
Definitely recommend if this type of menu is what you want, and this type of menu is indeed what we want from time to time, so we are happy that this Chili's is nearby. A good safe choice, and tasty,...
Read moreHad the worst dining experience at this location. Was in town visiting family and decided to stop in for dinner. Big mistake. Was greeted by a puddle of vomit on the sidewalk leading in. Hostess was disinterested. When we were sat it took our server, Maria, nearly fifteen minutes to greet us and take our drink order. The sprite needed to be changed and she said that it tasted fine to her. We placed our orders two separate two for $25. Appetizers came out quick (Two side salads and an order of fried pickles). The pickles were plated haphazardly with the metal tin sliding around the oversized plate enough that it was almost dropped as it was being put on the table. We needed refills but alas Maria was nowhere to be found. Thank goodness for the table tablet! Can order refills without disturbing our server! And then the waiting game began. Thirty six minutes after our appetizer plates were removed from the table our entree's arrived. Rice was cold, broccoli undercooked, and chicken strips were barely lukewarm. Not wanting to wait another hour for the food I requested a box to pack up and finish cooking at home. When Maria returned with a box she brought what I'm assuming was a manager (Tall, thin, blonde woman) who never identified herself. It honestly seemed as though we were disturbing her. She offered to "make things right" but never returned to the table. After what could be consumed was, we were left waiting once again for our desert, which at that point was clearly going to be taken Togo. Once it arrived at the table we promptly paid and left. There was no explanation as to why the food took so long or even so much as an apology from the server or manager. A truly bad dining experience that has soured the brand. If for some reason you do decided to dine at Chili's, I suggest going to the I-Drive location. Yes, it's more touristy, but you'll actually be able to dine in under two hours with food...
