I've been ordering through Uber eats here frequently. Always 2 alcapurrias and tostones.

The first night I ordered from here, the tostones and alcapurrias were crispy.

They had packaged the alcapurrias in a separate bag from the tostones with parchment paper.

It was great, however, in some of my orders they've been adding the alcapurrias to the same Styrofoam packaging as the tostones. Making the alcapurrias taste odd like plastic. In some cases they were so hot that they had melted the styrofoam through. Also, the steam makes them stodgy/soft instead of the crispy texture by the time they arrive.

If they would just keep the alcapurrias in a separate bag it would more than likely solve the taste/texture issue.

I really hope they read this and try to standardize the packaging process for items like alcapurrias to preserve their texture and taste.

I would rate higher, but the past 2 orders have been the same result. If you're looking for really good alcapurrias, this is definitely a good spot. Just make sure you go there instead of ordering. Just not worth the risk of wasting the...

I have lived in this area 10 + plus years , Food is pretty good ,.There salad dressing is yummy 😋 & there green chimi sauce . The white rice was definitely on the hard side :( today was the first time actually picking up food from this actual place/bar . I had called prior, I wanted to 2 orders 2 soups ahead of time . Lady on the phone was pleasant however said she couldn’t make the order ahead of time not sure why and or if this was typical. Told her it was not a problem at all & had my husband drive over to pick the 2 soups with my young 5 years old son . He waited 15 mins before the lady who served him finally said something like they are making it now . Making what ?? the soups are already made lol . Mind you there was maybe 3 families only sitting eating food mostly just beers being served . Anyways 37 mins later he managed to get our order . He felt single out waiting on the pre-made soup . This place is one of the places I visited with the worst customer service staff ignored you I was for 15 minutes trying to ask for a beer and all of the person behind the bar ignored me also finally when they decided to service me she said (we take care the people who ordered more) not only that when I spoke to the lady at the bartender I asked please can you provide me for owner name and phone numbers she got so mad they kicked me out for not reason yet for the simple question the I asked about owner info when I when out side another bartender came and tried to hurt me also I was out side on a ta le she took my beer the I purchased and looked it whilst asking and thrower away this is not a safe place whe their own staff wants to fight you for not reason..I won't recommend this place to none poor customer services so sorry is a good place but the staff is...
