Jimmy Hula's Winter Park — Restaurant in Winter Park

Sooooo in town visiting and I wanted something different and i wanted it delivered. I searched Google and found this place. I was excited for something different and saw where it indicated on my research to order from Chow now for discount. So i downloaded Jimmy hula app which showed ChowNow. The discount showed expired. But I still wanted different so continued order food it to be delivered. I placed order. After about half an hour I checked the app and it indicated pending. It did not show any estimated time or anything. So i called the restaurant and i asked the girl that answered if they have my order and ETA. She said she found my order and will put the order in now. So it was not started even yet. I asked her how long until receive and she said 20 minutes. I said you are indicating 20 minutes and then you are delivering it right? She said yes. So i hang up and wait. Another 45 minutes go by and i call back for status... Keep in mind no update from the app either. I asked the status and the girl said yes it's been here for a long time and we were wondering when it will get picked up. I said no this was requested for delivery. She said that if ordered on Chow now there is no delivery. Even though the app has it. I asked her to cancel the order. She told me to hold do assuming had to get manager to refund but came back on indicating refund in regards to app which i indicated as well when i called 45 minutes ago confirmed it would be delivery. So unfortunately I never received the food to test and rate...

Had issues ordering online: sent the order through, it took the money from the account and then returned it. Tried to order again and the system stated I had already ordered. Tried to push order through about 7 more time with an error saying I already ordered but it wouldn't take. Called the location and they do not take delivery orders over the phone. Had another person try to place the order and it finally went through. Online orders do not allow changes.. part of the order we needed to remove cheese so we called the location again to just remove and they did not want to help with that and that the gm does not allow modifications. We even asked to just put it on the side. Which does not make sense. I can understand not adding, as there could be additional fees but removing or placing on the side?! Eventually the lady said she was just going to remove it. Finally get to the delivery and they forgot to send the drink that I was forced to order and pay for with one of the meals. Add update: the meal that was to have no cheese, was supposed to have blackened chicken, had fried fish mixed instead. Neither one of us that ordered meals...

It was my first time at this location, I had visited the one that used to be in Downtown Orlando at least once, and I liked the experience. The food came out pretty quick as we got there just just before the lunch rush came in. My friend got the Burnt Reynolds which I got a bite of, it was good. He liked it but thinks the patty was small as he got a single and would do a double next time. He got the parm fries and those were yummy. I did the three taco meal (should have gone with two as it was more than needed) with guac. I would say the chips weren't that salty and the guac could use a little extra salt too and I'm not someone who craves salt. The Tacos I got (Johnny Utah {point break}, Killer, and this month's special which was like a chicken club) were all good. The staff was friendly as they kept smiling as I was a tired mess and they fixed a small mistake with my food. Don't know who the girl was behind the counter but I guess she was running the show but as she was doing everything. Thumbs up to her. I would return to try more but I think I would either get fries rather than chips with tacos or go for queso...
